SOURCE: Lever will not stay down unless you hold it down

The latching relay is either faulty, or the timer module has faulted. That usually happens when the Toaster has a "Fault" on it. I suspect that the Timer has faulted. Toasters really aren't usually fixed, but if you have a handy appliance repair shop why not get a quote, for a repair, or replacement.

Hatch won't open

Hi,
The car doesn't have a remote release lever on the driver's side floor in front of the driver's seat- where the gas door lever might be too?

Try pushing DOWN on the hatch while either turning the key or moving the lever.

Look in the Owner's Manual (or download one online).

Where do I find the front hood release on the car?

Bottom left next to driver's door is the pull handle.
Reach under the hood (you may have to pry a bit to get your fingers in there, particularly if the hydraulic gas lifts are dead so the hood stays down), slightly down and right from center. There's a flat lever you'll push right to release the catch.
Have about a 4' stick handy to prop it up if the lifts are dead, and make sure it's someplace which won't slip, if you do that.
Lube the mechanism with light oil such as 3-in-1 while you're there, and replace the lifts if they won't hold the hood up, not a big deal to do or costly...
