Question about Epson Stylus C42+ InkJet Printer
The printer will not print and the blinking red light wont go off.
The light came on after 4 failed attepts to clear the horizontal banding on my documents.
There is paper and both ink cartridges are new.
What can I do to get the printer operational again? i have a green blinking light (power button) and red blinking light (paper feed & ink indicator button) they blink alternatly and i have fit paper and new ink but it still fails to print as it is not talking to pc please could someone tell me the problem or the fault code so i am able to fix this anoying problem
If both red and green lights are blinking, it usually means that your waste ink pads need replacing. This requires dismantling of the printer and resetting of the protection counter. If you feel up to it, respond with your e-mail address and I will send you instructions - but it's not easy.

Its either the cartridge is not installed properly or having hardware issue, try to reseat cartridges and unplug printer and replug it. clear print jobs and try reprinting.
