Maybe its because your not on an administrative account. Try to log on to an administrator account, and see if it works.

Confirm adobe dlm

I have been having strange problems with facebook. The word like appears in strange places on the page. Tonight the type is very bad. I can hardly read it. When I get a message and click on it a blank...

First try rebooting your computer. Second do you have an antivirus or internet security installed? If not get one! Third check for updated drivers for your video card.

I'm trying to down load adobe flash free from off line

if you want the player (for oneline flash games or facebook) then goto:
get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If you want the full software (to make websites) you will have to buy it, as its illegal to download for free.

Device driver will not install; error msg "Access Denied"

Ok so i was searching around the internet and found a similar problem with another monitor so for giggles i tried there method. This is the website where i found it : http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/itprovistahardware/thread/d7c0e5bd-2fcf-48ff-a79b-c157014fc821/#page:3

The Second Entry has a download. Download it then extract the files to the desktop. Dont worry if you get errors when the program runs it will fix them, if they come up just press enter to keep going. Once the program completes install the driver again and it should work as it did for me.

If you cant get to that website heres the post from it:
"Ok, once again i checked updates for HP My Display/Drivers, and found this:
http://www.portrait.com/dtune/hpw/enu/support_help.html

Here is a direct link to fix for "Access Denied" issue (HP LCD Monitors & Vista):
http://download.portrait.com/DRVFix.zip

Download DRVFix.zip. The fix contains 3 files including this readme. All must be in to the same folder.
  • readme.txt - This file
  • RestoreDisp.exe - Executable required to restore permissions. DO NOT RUN THIS FILE
  • DVRFIX.exe - Run this file in Administrator mode after reading the instructions completely
To perform the fix do the following:
  1. Extract all files in to a folder on your desktop
  2. Open the folder, right click on the DVRFIX.exe file and choose "Run As Administrator"
  3. Follow the on screen instructions. When complete, you should be able to install your drivers

If you find this helpful, please let me know.

I fixed this issue manually (from registry), about month ago.
But gladly i found this help file, by mistake. emotion-1.gif

Need to delete Adobe Reader 7.0.9 so I can reinstall latest Versi

I was able to remove Adobe 7.0.9 by getting feed back from "question to google crowd"!
1. I had to download a program that removed the "setup" from the Adobe 7.0.9 on my computer.
2.I then downloaded Adobe 8.1 (with the understanding that since "7.0.9" now had no setup instructions" there would be no problem with the "8.1" download) -
3.Once "8.1" was downloaded I went to "ADD/REMOVE" and removed "7.0.9" - this time it worked just fine - no message that I had to find a folder with "7.0.9" .
4.After removing "7.0.9" I removed "8.1" with the ADD/REMOVE program;
5.All Adobe was removed from the computer..I then downloaded ADOBE 9 from Adobe's website.
6.I went to my portfolio to check it out and the pages came up without a hitch.
Goodluck to those who have had a similar problem.
