SOURCE: Everything looks great then the picture goes off,

You have the television on sleep mode. You'll have to disengage the sleep function! Most tv have this option so that you can go ahead and snooze for a while and the tv will turn itself off!

SOURCE: cello l2232af power supply fault, when switching

I had this same problem with my 23" cello TV. It was a problem with the internal power supply - specifically the 12V output. It had fallen to 5V. I noticed that the three electrolytic capacitors (EC7 EC8 & EC9) had bulging tops as though they had been damaged. I replaced these and my TV is now working again although I don't know how long it will last. The three capacitors were 1000uf 16V types. I replaced them with 35V versions (which are physically bigger and a tight squeeze). Your TV repair shop should be able to replace these faulty components in under an hour.

MY dstv DSDD 1132 decoder is flashing red and green lights but yellow light is steady. tv is black and remote not responding

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Dstv remote not working on any blue dials? Two tv's in separate rooms, one pvr decoder. Only the red dial works on both tv's & both remotes are working & both tvs responding properly.

Is this a newly installed system? If both tv's are responding to the same remote setting (red in case), it means both tv's are set to the same channel. The tv that is connected to the decoder directly (via AV cables, I presume) is supposed to respond to if the remote is set to red. In order for the second tv to respond when the remote is set to blue, you need to tune the second tv until you find the picture of tv2 (the decoder transmits both tv1 and tv2 on the RF/coaxial output and it seems that your remote tv is tuned to tv1 instead of tv2).

I want to couple my DSTV Decoder through my new THT-3017HDMI Home Theatre System to the TV. How do I do that? I am very much technology disatvantaged.

THT-3017HDMI to hook with TV.
Get RCA Cables, red and white from your DSTV straight to your DVD.

The Yellow (Video) Straight from your DSTV to your TV yellow input.
Set your TV to Input 1 or 2 depending on the port you used. PLease but your volume will be only controlled via DVD, if you switch your TV off it will still sound the TV channels via DVD speakers,

Need to connect my DSTV decoder through my sony amplifier (5.1) not sure of a the cabling or the connections, does someone perhaps ahve a wiring diagram to connect TV, dstv decoder and sony 5.1 amplifier?...

well this is easier than you think, get yourself a set of RCA's (the red and white and yellow cables that DVD players come with) look behind your decoder and place them colour to colour, then behind your Amp you will read (TV IN) do the same, then with just one yellow RCA plug it into (monitor) that one will then go to the (AV input) behind your TV.. And presto!!! now set your amp input on the remote to TV and your off!! good luck
