Fuel lione and filter came off in the tank

This is a simple repair.
1. Drain tank save fuel can be used again
2.Purchase fuel line replacement kit Lowes -Home Depot
3.Kit needs to contain feed wire and gas hose.
4.Disassemble cover to reveal fuel line connection to carb.
5. Feed wire from kit into fuel tank through fuel line hole.
6. Install new hose over wire connecting end into hook at end of wire
7. Pull hose through tank up to the carburetor
8. Remove wire and connect filter and hose to carburetor
9. Replace gas into tank, Ck for leaks

Stihl 012 av fuel lines

The 2nd line might be a vapor return line back to the fuel tank? I've dealt more with repairing bigger saws more than smaller ones. You should go to a Stihl shop&take a look at chainsaws about the same size as yours&take off the air filter cover&look to see where the carburetor lines go.

Stihl chainsaw problems

Your dealer is right. Gas is not a carbs best friend. every time you fuel dirt gets in the fuel tank from the air. This eventually blocks air and fuel passages and check valves inside the carb. That is the reason. Carbs wear out like anything else. Check the price of a carb compared to a kit. Some Stihl carbs are reasonable.

No pilcoming through 009 stihl chainsaw

Check to make sure the pick up line in the tank hasn't come lose. Then check the port under the bar and cover is free and clear of debris. If that's not it you probably need a new pump.

generally you have 1 line from the tank that has a fuel filter attached to it that goes to the inlet port on the carb, 1 line from the carb to the primer bulb, and 1 line from the primer bulb back to the tank. when you press the primer it draws fuel through the carb and returns it to the tank through the primer bulb

Have a Stihl chainsaw (011). It dies out at a high rpm. I think I am sucking air from tank area because carb. is good, fuel is good, fuel lines are good at carb. I am looking for something to print out...

Replace the fuel cap. Check the fuel filter (inside the tank hanging on a length of fuel line) for plugging. Also check that length of fuel line for decay or other damage. Hope this helps!
