SOURCE: Dishwasher states there is a water leak when visually there isn't

Assuming that you have checked under the dishwasher for a leak (through a faulty sump gasket):
Since there is not actual leak, check the following:
-Confirm that the height of Drain Hose connection (sink-Drain Hose) rises greater than 20′ _minimum_ as it travels to the drain connection.
-If that does not solve the problen, it is probably a worn/broken Impeller of the Washing Pump.
Unless you are mechanicly incliend, a service call is probably the way to do. If you need further steps, please reply. Otherwise, after you ahve used the advise, please accept this solution.

SOURCE: dishwasher quits running and clean lite keeps flashing

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the clean light flashes, pauses, and then repeats. When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash

-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: Our dishwasher model eidw6105gs1 will not start.

Think you need to reset it, leave it turned on overnight and door shut firmly, sometimes the problem is programme can not be finished from before.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EIDW6105GS1, is not cleaning your dishes. I ask that you please try the following solutions:

1)Check the incoming water temperature. It should be at least 120 degrees F (49 degrees C).

2)Choose another cycle for longer washing time.

3)Check the rack loading section for proper loading-avoid nesting items.

4)Make sure your home water pressure is not too low-it should be between 20 and 90 pounds per square inch (psi).

5)Check water hardness. For extremely hard water, it may be necessary to install a water softener.

    6)Use fresh detergent.

7)Make sure items are not blocking any of the spray arms, preventing them from rotating.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

    -Best Regards-
    WP

I have a EIDW6105GS1 all of the light flash! it did it once before and I thought I reset it somehow! but I cant remember! can you help?

There might be a possibility of resetting by pressing High Temp button 5 times. But I don't think this may solve the problem.

All lights flashing could mean a flood detection. This means water is leaking into the base of dishwasher. The flood switch has to be dried to make it work again. Also need to find the source of the leak. Make sure dishwasher is disconnected from mains power before attempting to work in it.

Electrolux dishwasher eidw6105gs1 No power and no

Hello Pamela, I am happy to assist you!

Let's try resetting the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn dishwasher back. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: a potential wiring failure, damaged cord, and faulty power supply or control board. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the appliance.

My LG dishwasher - model LD-12AW2 has 'E1' alert & won't work

This sounds like a anti flood activation due to water leak / spill detection. This device (polystireen float and micro switch) at the base of the washer detects any water leak and stops the washing cycle once water leak activates the switch via the float. Check if any water at the base of washer is cuasing the float to activate the switch. Rectify any leak / spill (normally a pipe / clamp) and this should solve the problem.
