Question about Pioneer inno2 Portable XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Home Kit - Black

Open Question

I no longer get a good signal from xm on my inno

I'm being shuffled between Pioneer and XM with no help yet. My inno breaks up worse then an am station. It doesn't matter if it's in the home dock or my car docking station. The signal constantly comes and go.

Mine worked fine for the first month, then reception got progressively worse.  Reads three bars for signal, so antenna is properly placed.

signal strength drops when I'm walking in different directions. Heading south, the signal is fine; however, when I make a turn...I lose the signal.

SOURCE: no signal problem on xm home satilite docking staion

You have probably lost a local repeater. Try moving it temporarily to a south-facing window. Here's another one to try: Put in dock and turn off with button on unit. wait 10 seconds, now press "2" "0" "7" "XM" buttons one at a time in that order ON THE FRONT of your SkyFi2 and the radio will go ON by itself! Now, press "Display" 4 times. You will see a screen that says "SAT1", "SAT2" and "TERR". You need a constant checkmark for DEMOD on at least one of the 3 boxes. Please tell me which ones are checkmarked and the average "BER%" number is. The lower the BER% number, the better. If BERis 100%, you are out of luck. Write back and let me know what you read. Press "Display" 5 more times to go back to regular screen. Thanks,
John

SOURCE: pioneer inno will not recive xm singal

Are you still having this problem? Sounds like you just aren't getting a good signal. Antenna is not properly mounted, not getting good singal.
Or, the antenna and/or cable is damaged.

  • there might be speaker wires touching somewhere
  • check all ventilation slats in Receiver make sure dust free
  • Check all connections maybe cable connections mixed up
  • Make sure power cord plugged in all of the way. Also make sure that the cord does not have exposed wires (this could cause a short

Check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output stage circuit. An IC short or like that can cause this fault. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here. I have a matsui MCH 750 mini hi-fi,i am having problems with the FM radio channels, sometimes or most of the time i get what seems like the channels are not tuned in properly or the aeriel is not good

If you're sure the FM signal strength at your area is good, the fault is with its AFT [Automatic Fine Tuning] system circuit inside the device. Contact any service technician to get it repaired. This is not a user repairable fault. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Unless your PC is Bluetooth capable, you'll need to get a Bluetooth device to make it so. This is just one of many such devices to select from. Amazon com Roker Ultra Mini CSR Bluetooth 4 0 Usb Adator for PC and... They vary in size and price. Shop around to find one that best suits your budget. But you want an adaptor/receiver specifically for Bluetooth. (you will need an empty USB port for the adaptor)

Hope this information helps, best of luck!

I have a Shontek radio controlled clock. It ran fine for a couple of years, then the battery died. I install a new "Durcell" battery and it went through the motions of setting itself but was a...

Your radio should have come with a receiver of some sort for the radio signals to set itself. I had this same issue with my clock when the battery in the receiver died ... try replacing this too. It took me forever to figure out what it was because I had forgotten that it had its own radio receiver ... then once I remembered it existed, I had to find it, but replacing the battery fixed the problem. Hope that helps :-)

The receptor in the Logitech MP3 Wireless and Ipod wireless headphones is located in the right speaker of the headphones, so place your player in a pocket in the right side of your coat.
