If this is a kenwood deck, Go into the menu, Your internal amp is turned off. Any other deck you did not wire it up poperly then, If you bruaght it used the output could be fried, Because it was not hookup right end wires were cross up.

Is the CD player independent of the tuner or is this an all in one unit.

I wont the speakers hooked to the cd player no the amp

check were the speakers are installed for pre existing wiring they probly left it there.. if not then you will have to run speaker wire from your stereo wiring harness to your speakers. if the speakers were hooked up to the amp then the wire in the harness should be vacant and you can use it if all the wires are connected then that means that you just have to find were that wire leads and hook your speakers up to it.

My boyfriend hooked up my speakers in my car to my cdx-gt200, now my cd player wont even come on. He never touched any of the connection wires for the player. At first he could not find the remote turn on...

change the fuse behind the system.
"so he hooked it up to the left front speaker wire, then found the remote turn on wire and hooked it up to it." will have burned the sound system or not. remove the new installation, test it, reinstall, test again.

Car stereo displays what is playing but no sound. had passenger window replaced and now speakers (all) wont make any sound. CD player lists trac and song playing but no sound. Radio will list songs playing...

well just because they replace the window shouldnt have nothing to do with it because the wires in your speakers are diffenrent and they run to your cd player seperatly try taking off the panel and make sure the wires that run to your cd player are hooked up to your speakers

No sound to the in car speakers from my alpine cda-9827 cd player

What kind of car did you install this in? Did it have a factory radio in it? If I had to take a guess I would think that there is a factory amp that you may have hooked the blue wire from the alpine deck to. If this is the case when you switch to CD the alpine deck turns off the power to the power antenna lead(blue wire) and thus your factory amp. If this is the case hook the factory amp turn on to the blue and white wire and you should be good to go.

My deck doesnt not transmit signal to my amp. Is this an rca cable problem

Hi Your problem is almost defenetly that one speaker is hooked up with reversed polarities, making one speaker cancel out some vibrations of the other speaker. So get the wiring phase checked again, its ethier this or a fauly cable. Good luck.
