SOURCE: i have a sony xplode

Fault is in your sony. The fuse blows because of high power consumption. I think the final audio amplifier are burned( maybe only one channel)

I need to know how to hook up my pyle pla4278 4 ch 2000watt bridgeable mosfet amplifier

Hi, I assume you are powering regular speakers in the car, right?
The amp needs a power cable from the fuse box or battery.
This cable should be about 6 gage and should have a fuse of about 150 amps.
You will need a ground cable, also 6 gage and connect it tightly to the chassis under the dash.
Disconnect all speaker wires from the head unit, and use a pair of RCA cables to connect the head unit preamp outputs to the amplifier.
Also from the head unit, connect the blue wire to the "turn on" terminal of the amplifier.
Finally, connect your speaker wires to the amplifier.
Your speakers should be rated for at least 500 Watts, or you will blow them with this amp.

Please let me know if you have questions and thanks for using FixYa.

Im looking for the reset button on my pyle chopper series pla2200 amplifier...i was requested to look on the back of the amp or by the 'plug in fuse' near the input sockets and i still cant find it, what...

Dude, there is no breaker button, there are two 15amp fuses on the speaker connect end of the unit. Here is the link to Pyle: http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PLA2200-2210-2220-4200.pdf
If it's not a blown fuse then you will need service.

No power when i plug it up !

HI, check to make sure the wall socket is live by, plugging another device into the socket. if the socket is live, this will confirm a internal issue that concerns the power sector of the unit.

Contact pyle for this repair.

***In some model, there will be an In-Line fuse located inside the unit on the power board or transformer. replacing this fuse(if installed), may fix this issue.(uncommon)

Try swapping the "bad" fuses for the "good" ones and see if that helps. That will tell you if the fuses are the problem. I doubt that is the problem. You never said what kind of problem you were having with the left speaker. If your friend dropped a drink into the amp then I would discontinue using it until it was checked out and don't be surprised if you have one channel that has some parts that need replacing, like some of the output transistors/MOSFET's. That might explain why your fuses appear to be melted. Maybe they are. In any case, get someone who knows what they are looking at to have a look see at your amp.
