With out mouse

Please give us more details if you really want help.

See if the mouse works in Safe Mode. You mouse or keyboard may have been hijacked.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.Check your mouse properties in the Control Panel. Click Start/Control Panel then look for mouse. You can set the mouse back to default settings.

Check to make sure you have not locked the mouse on the keypad. On some systems there will be a button at the top in the middle of the keypad, just press it to toggle the mouse on or off. Other systems will allow you to toggle the mouse on or off by keystrokes such as pressing and holding the ALT, FN or CTRL key then hit the key that controls the mouse keypad. The correct key will sometimes have a finger pointing into a square which represents the keypad.

Laptop cursor not registering when pressed When the laptop is turned on,the cursor does not appear and nothing registers when I try to move the cursor around the screen to select something.

Ok on keyboard, press WINDOWS logo see start page comes up. using keypads arrow keys, access the control panel, find mouse, if you are using vista, set classic view. you may get around by tab key and up>down>rigth>left arrow keys.
Install driver again or use update \. come back start and shot down the computer by shotdown arrow, do not use brown button will not shotdown, it is stanby (On vista). Then turn on again see what you see>
If can not, Just use same system and reach out the system tools from accessories>system tools>Make defragmentation.
No result > make system restore. No result see tech.

I have keyboard and mouse does not work and usb port too

Does the keyboard respond upon system boot. It should.

Press F8 repeatedly until you come to a black screen with text and select command line with safe mode or command line depending on the type of operating system you have.

If it is Windows XP, type in the command prompt: c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and restore windows to a time when it was working properly.

If it is Windows Vista, type c:\windows\system32\rstrui.exe.
