Question about ATI RADEON X1650 Graphic Card
this mornin when my dad started the comp. he was just about to check the news when the screen went blank and diplayed the message out of range. he mouse also went dead. i have just rid the antivirus 360 virus off this comp and another shoppers virus awswell. the comp has been running really slow so i uninstalled a few games and fread up the hardrives and defraged both of them. i have run multiple scan using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and have found nothing new. if you could help that would be great i am using a radeon X1650 series graphics card with 512mb ram and the driver is version 188.8.131.5298
Out of range indicates that the refresh rate or resolution is set too high for the monitor to display. I would suggest re booting into safe mode by pressing F8 during boot, before windows begins to load. Select safe mode with networking if you can, and once in safe mode, uninstall the ati display driver from the control panel. Then go to ATI's site and download the latest driver for your card. Save that file to your desktop. Reboot normally, as Windows should load default vga drivers for your card. Once in Windows, install the latest driver you just downloaded. That should reset the resoultion to one that your monitor can display. Good luck:)

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
