Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: panasonic cf-x1w laptop model

This means it's a laptop sold in Japan and I'm pretty sure there isn't anything you can do about it. If they made a unit with identical hardware and sold it in the US under a different model # than you can d/l the bios update for the US model and flash it over the Japanese bios. Call the manufacturer to see if that is the case.

Clear / reset BIOS password on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-53

You can usually reset the BIOS password by unplugging the CMOS battery and all other power sources.
Then turn the computer on with power plugged in (not the CMOS battery though).
After computer has booted up, turn off again, plug CMOS battery back in and password should have reset.

Tutorial on how to do this can be found under soloution 2 of this link:

Where on the motherboard on my panasonic cf-w7 tougbook can i locate the cmos battery and can it be removed

Most likely not a user serviceable item. To prevent theft the password is not stored in the cmos and can't be cleared that way. send it in to Panasonic.

How do you do a master reset on a panasonic cf-52

You can reset the password on your Panasonic CF-52 using two different methods. You will need to open up the back cover of your laptop. Now, pull the CMOS battery cell from your motherboard for twenty minutes and then put it back. This should clear the memory. You can also clear your password with jumper settings. Find the jumper on your motherboard named clear CMOS, it has a 3 pin.(1-2-3) Put the jumper in the 2-3 position and then again put it in 1-2 position then check.

Cmos problem in panasonic cf-x1w laptop model

The first page of the setup has the date, time, language options so just scroll through the drop down menu. Also go to Panasonic's web site to view the online menu for the BIOS setup and count how far English is from the top of the list so you can just count on the CMOS setup menu!
