1. Start with the Perfect Eyeshadow Colors
Eyeshadow shades that match your eye color will enhance your eyes and make them appear bigger. Choose three shades of colors, but keep them light - darker colors can make your eyes actually appear smaller. If you are not sure what type of shades to choose, a consultation at a beauty salon may help you to find the most complimentary colors of eye makeup for your eyes.

2. Use the Right Types of Eyeshadow Brushes

It is best to buy three different types of brushes for your eye makeup applications. All brushes should have a flat half circle shape. The largest brush should have a soft tip, but the medium and smaller brushes need to have stiffer tips to help you control where the makeup is applied and how much of it is applied to the sensitive skin above your eyes.

3. Prime Before You Apply Eyeshadow

For a long lasting application of eyeshadow use a makeup primer made specifically for eye makeup applications. A primer is a silky smooth light liquid that will stop eye makeup from fading away by the end of the day. Even better, a primer will prevent the eye makeup from settling in the soft creases around your eyes.

4. Apply Eyeshadow Evenly

As you apply your eye makeup, take care to make sure that the application is even on each eye. Start by applying the lightest shade of makeup from the eyelash line to just under the brow with the largest and softest makeup brush. Next, use the medium sized brush to apply the medium shade to the eyelash line to the top of the eyelid. Lastly, use the smallest brush to apply a very subtle line of eye makeup just above the eyelashes.

5. Blend for a Flawless Finish

The last step is to use your large and soft eyeshadow brush, or a separate large and fluffy makeup brush, to gently blend the eyeshadow colors. Sweep the brush from the inside of the eye to the outside of the eye, and make sure you lightly brush the area from the lash line to the top of the brow. If you want to give your eyes a little pop, use the lightest shade of color and add just a tiny dab on the outside corner of each eye.

hope this help ;)

SOURCE: How do you apply eyeshadow to dark brown eyes?

Ok, you have dark brown eyes? So do I! Many women do, its the most dominant eye color in the world. Ok so, how do you make them look big and beautiful? You must buy great makeup! Ok so one way to make them pop is to buy different eyeshadow colors than your eye is. So for you I would recommend a pink with gold, a blue with sliver, a light purple, a peachy color, something sparkly, but lighter colored. Don't use dark eyeshadow on dark eyes! Also, you must buy a good mascara. I tend to use dark mascara and lighter eyeshadow. It really does make your eyes big and georgous! Don't use eyeliner on dark eyes unless its on the top! It makes your eyes look smaller! Proven fact that when you have dark eyes, and you put eyeliner on the bottom, it makes them look small, and beaty. I hope this answer helped you out. Enjoy :]

I'm not sure but I think I'm getting pink eye from the new purple eyeshadow - the one with the four shade of purple in a compact anyone else having problems

Pink eye is caused by a viral or bacterial infection. If you have been sharing your eyeshadow, there is a possibility. However, if this is causing your eye to be itchy or swollen, then it may be an allergic reaction to an ingredient in the eyeshadow.

Need eyeshadow advice?? I've never been good at applying eyeshadow. I never know if I should cover my whole eyelid or what color to use. And when I do where some, it seems to always get smudgy by the end...

My advice is to stick with something natural at first. I like eyeshadows with a little bit of shimmer... they just stay on better with me! For everyday, I like a shimmery peach or taupe and I apply them on my lid up to the crease. Then I use a shade a little darker in the crease (you can skip this part if you want something simpler). You may want to play around with colors to see what you like best with your coloring.

Another tip... applying concealer and powder FIRST helps my eyeshadow have something to stick to. If I apply it with no makeup on before, it doesn't last as well. I also apply eyeliner and mascara after the eyeshadow.

Just have fun with it! Try to stick to lighter colors, so if it does smudge, it's not a big deal!
