Emachines Keyboard Model No. KB0511

Would like to know what some of the Keys on the Board are and how to use them. Did not get anything with the Emachines Model W3653.

Hope you can help.

Had a hard time finding just the keyboard along, so had to do it by way of the W3653 model number.

In the link below you will find the manual for the W3653, and on page 3-5 there is an explanation of the keyboard keys.

http://downloads.emachines.com/userguides/Desktop_UG_Nexgen2_3_en.pdf

On this link, there are a lot of pictures of the computer and all its parts with descriptive details, that you can scroll down on.

I hope this helps! thanks.

Look for a wireless icon similar to the attached picture on the keyboard, it locates usually among F1 to F12 keys, if you don't see anything similar from F1 to F12, then try looking from 1 to 9 keys. Once it's located, press and hold down the Fn key on the keyboard and press the key with the icon (i.e. wireless icon) simultaneously for a couple of seconds, this will turn on and off the wireless function of your system. Let me know if you need further help with the model number of your emachine. Good Luck.

How to identify function key on emachines keyboard

No that's the Windows key

For a desktop computer keyboard, keys F1 through F12 are the Function keys. No Fn key needed.

For a laptop computer hold the Fn key down, then tap once on the F1 through F12 keys

My keybord model kb0511 wont work! Urgent Help!

only if it is cordless.... there are a couple of things :

1- a key could be stuck-down.....press every one.

2 - Many people make the mistake when moving a corded keyboard, of wrapping the cord around the keyboard too tightly...and it causes damage to the cord....rendering it useless. Fortunately they are cheap.

Where can i buy replacement page up button that has broken...emachines e725 model

Usually it is quite impossible to purchase only the page up button as once it is removed the entire keyboard is disfigured. Although you can always request for a complete keyboard set therefore you get to replace all the keys. Even if you get only the page up button it is almost impossible for you to replace it without causing further damage to other keys. You can always order a replacemet board on ebay at affordable prices.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Arrow key problem

if its a sensor problem under the keyboard, gently blowing under the key or hoovering the keyboard may bring results, but it may just be the driver, so go to my comuter icon, right click, properties, the hardware tab, device manager and go down the list to keyboard, click the '+' sign to reveal your keyboard make, right click on it and select uninstal. Restart the notebook and the keyboard will be recognised again and the driver automatically installed. If none of that works your problem may be more serious in the way of a faulty circuit under the board
