Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Would like to know what some of the Keys on the Board are and how to use them. Did not get anything with the Emachines Model W3653.
Thought I would have got a picture of Keyboard and description of each Key.
Hope you can help.
Here you go:
Enter The computer brings the cursor to the beginning of the next line. This key can also be pressed
to open a program after you have HILIGHTED* it. It will execute a command.
Shift ▲ Hold the shift key down and press the letter key you want to make a CAPITAL letter.
This key is also used to type the charters at the
top of some keys. Eg: Shift + 1 = ! or Shift + 2 = @
Caps Lock Makes all letters CAPITAL letters. When the Caps Lock key is pushed, a light will
show up on the upper right corner of your keyboard
next to the capital “A”. When caps lock is turned on it remains on until you press the Caps Lock key
again. When you press the Shift key when
Caps Lock is on, a lower case letter will be produced.
Space This key places one space every time it is pressed. (The long, unlabeled key at the
bottom center of your keyboard).
←Backspace Deletes the character to the left of the cursor each time you press it. (If you hold it
down it will continue to delete so be careful).
Delete Deletes the character to the right of the cursor each time you press it.
Home Brings you to the beginning of the line the cursor is on.
End Brings you to the end of the line the cursor is on.
Esc Located in the upper right corner of your keyboard. Cancels an incomplete command;
it will also close an open menu.
← Moves the cursor to the left one space each time it is pushed; does not delete the
↑ Moves the cursor up one line each time it is pushed; does not delete the character.
→ Moves the cursor to the right one space each time it is pushed; does not delete the
↓ Moves the cursor down one line each time it is pushed; does not delete the character.
Insert Deletes the character to the right of the cursor and replaces it with whatever is typed on
↔Tab Moves the cursor to the tab marks and between columns.
Shift + print screen Prints what is on your computer screen.
Highlight (to select) To make the item stand out. To choose or select it.
? *When an icon is highlighted (left click the mouse button one time while the cursor is pointing at
the icon), the program has been chosen and the name of the icon will change color. When this has
happened, you may press the Enter key to open the program.
? *To highlight a character or characters, move the cursor, using your mouse or the arrow keys, to
the left of the item you wish to select. Press the left mouse button and hold it down while you
move the mouse to the right. Let go of the left mouse button and your item(s) should be
highlighted. Then you can choose what you want to do to the selected item(s) e.g. bold, underline,
delete, italicize, etc.
“Drag and drop” Move the cursor to the item, click the left mouse button and hold it down.
Move the mouse, while holding down the left
mouse button, to the location you want to move the item. Let go of the left
Cursor - The arrow on your screen. The mouse is used to move the cursor.

Had a hard time finding just the keyboard along, so had to do it by way of the W3653 model number.
In the link below you will find the manual for the W3653, and on page 3-5 there is an explanation of the keyboard keys.
On this link, there are a lot of pictures of the computer and all its parts with descriptive details, that you can scroll down on.
