Question about Dell 3110cn Laser Printer
I have restarted the computer and it is still displaying and says to contact support. It will occassionally print a page after reseting but then immediately displays the message again.

SOURCE: LSU ERROR shows in display panel
The LSU is the Laser Scanning Unit or "printhead". There is a mirror in there that spins really fast, if the mirror spins too slowly (bad motor, low voltage) it gives an error. Sounds like you would need a replacement LSU. Have the printer serviced.

The following steps are the troubleshooting steps that should be followed for error code 010 397.
First, the definition of the failure is <IOT Fuser Failure>, and means a Fuser Error is detected.
1) With power off, reseat the fuser by physically removing it from the printer, then reinstalling it and locking it in place. Turn the power back on. ( if the error is still present, proceed to step 2 ).
2) If reseating the fuser did not resolve the problem, Replace the fuser with a known good fuser.
( if problem is not resolved, proceed to step 3)
3) Replace the LVPS ( low voltage power supply ). ( if problem not resolved, proceed to step 4 ).
4) Replace the PWBA MCU ( printed wiring board assembly - machine control unit ).
END of troubleshooting.........
In most cases, the fuser itself is the problem. If you tried to reseat or replace the fuser while power was still on, the LVPS could have been damaged just as if there were an electrical storm.
Hopefully this helped.

SOURCE: Error 003-343 Dell 3110cn
Open the printer using the button on the side top right. You will see two gray things with arrows going left and right. move them both two where you can take out the piece it is hold in. Pull out the large piece and put it back in. Close the two gray things to lock it back into place. Close the printer and restart it. It should fix your issue. It must of became loose at one point when I was moving so I fiddled with it and turns out that was the issue. It works great now!!

Install old cartriage, if you still have it, let the machine tell you that it is empty, then go through the install process with one of the new ones.

SOURCE: Error message 50c on printer
I had the same error message 50c and "color Ink low". I knew that I still had Black Ink, and that is what I just needed for the moment, so I removed the color Ink cartridge and it started working. You'll get a message 'print cartridge missing' but just press continue.
Hope this helps,

Maybe your memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.
Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of the
memory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer.
If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x on
it with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the next
memory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set it
aside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If it
boots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and put
it into the open memory chip slot and try booting.
Diagnostic Lights CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions located in the Product Information Guide. To help you troubleshoot a problem, your computer has four lights labeled "1," "2," "3," and "4"on the front or back panel. The lights can be off or green. When the computer starts normally, the patterns or codes on the lights change as the boot process completes. When the computer starts normally, the patterns or codes on the lights change as the boot process completes. If the POST portion of system boot completes successfully, all four lights display solid green. If the computer malfunctions during the POST process, the pattern displayed on the LEDs may help identify where in the process the computer halted.
NOTE: The orientation of the diagnostic lights may vary depending on the system type. The diagnostic lights can appear either vertical or horizontal.
The computer is in a normal "off" condition, or a possible pre-BIOS failure has occurred.
The diagnostic lights are not lit after the computer successfully boots to the operating system.
Plug the computer into a working electrical outlet and press the power button.
A possible BIOS failure has occurred; the computer is in the recovery mode.
Run the BIOS Recovery utility, wait for recovery completion, and then restart the computer.
A possible processor failure has occurred.
Reinstall the processor and restart the computer.
Memory modules are detected, but a memory failure has occurred.
