EMachine H3065 cannot find Lexar 4BG micro SD card using adapter

My 4 BG Lexar micro HC card came with an SD adapter. The card works in my LG 260 phone, but when I use the adapter to try and add files to the card from my e-Machine H3065 desktop, the card reader light on the e-Machine lights up green, but the "My Computer" screen never succeeds in showing the contents of the micro card. Is my desktop simply too old to read this card?

My Computer (A Compaq S62o0CL desktop) Wont recognize a Lexar Micro SD card when put into the usb port with the card to usb adapter. Do I need additional drivers? The machine sees the adapter\card being plugged in but wont read the card.

THIS WILL MAKE YOU LOOSE ALL FILES!!!
(even password)
Take the memorycard out of the phone and,
put it in a computer.Use filesystem FAT-32
to reformat your memorycard.
Now the card will work again!
No password, No files will be left after a

Make sure you're using an SD card, 2GB or smaller. The 435 will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

How shall i put in a kingston 1gb micro sd in a All in 1 card reader

You should have 2 components with your micro SD card. The card, a small adaptor and a large adaptor. All you need to do is see what size adaptor your read needs. You place the card in the tiny slot in the adaptor and slide it in the reader. The computer will find the micro SD and install the driver to read it. Then it will give you an option to open the files. That is how 99% of them work.

reformat your card through your pc. don't go for quick format. if it doesn't works after that also then get a software 4 low level formatting. if then also it doesn't works ask me again.
kindly rate my solution.

Micro sdhc card reader will not recognize 8gig card

You problem is most likely to be the fact that your micro chip is a HC chip. HC chips have a new program that is not backwards compatible to regular sd host ports. This is a simple fix, however. If you don't trust downloading programs for it on the internet, just go to target or walmart and get a USB SD card reader, and a SD adapter if you don't already have one. The usb adapter should only be like $10 at most.

Sansa C240 can only read SD cards that are NOT SDHC - that means it can only read up to a 2gb Micros SD card.

Axim x5 sd not reading

I would think it is having more trouble with the adapter than the actual card. It could also be the storage size of the card that is the problem as well. Try a regular 2GB SD Card and see if it works. If it does, then it is probably just the adapter.

Problem with reading Sandisk 4gig hc micro sd card in my computer and laptop

I guess you put the SD adapter into the card reader right out of the box? You first may have to partition/format it after unpacking it. Under WinXP I can recommend an utility "DiskPart" which you can start from the command prompt (Run... -> cmd). For further instructions (if it sounds to you to be the problem ) contact me again.
