Question about Dryers
I'm trying to replace the belt of my GE DHDSR46EE1WW drier. I took the old broken belt to my local appliance parts store and they said that particular model (WE12M22) of belt is not sold anymore and they sold me a replacement (WE12M29). I took the dryer apart and tried to put the belt on, passed it around the motor drive and the pulley but there's a really big slack. At first I though this replacement was wrong so I called them and they confirmed it is the right one. I measured the belts and they are the same size. So I guess I must be doing something wrong. I need a to know exactly how to install this belt around the motor drive and pulley so there won't be this big slack. Can anybody help me here?
