Powers on, audio works, no video at all

I suddenly have no picture at all. Yesterday everything worked fine. Today, I still have good audio but all 3 CRTs refuse to come on. Any troubleshooting tips, or advice on finding a service manual or schematic for under $30, would be appreciated.

There is no text or volume indicator on the screen. The CRTs are not powering on at all. I could hear them when they were working, and now I can't.

There is no high voltage going to the CRTs, the fly-back transformer supplies the high voltage. On most CRT TVs when you power up you can hear a quiet crackle noise cumming from the back of the set (that is the high voltage turning on) if you cant hear this most likely the fly-back transformer needs to be replaced.

First, need to narrow down the problem. Did you perhaps change the input source? To this point, change the input source, there should be text on screen that indicates what source is you see this? Change the you see the volume level bar on the screen?

Try first unplugging power cable for thirty minutes, then plug back, this will drain power from TV completely and will reset it.

See if it works.

Yamaha HTR-5063 is connected with new LG smart TV with HDMI. Today no picture or sound on TV. How to fix it ?

First, you need to identify which box the problem is in. Does the TV work with other inputs? If not, problem in TV. If it does, then the problem is in the Yamaha.
Once you know where the problem is, you can proceed to fixing what's broken.

While most HDMI sources work with good audio and video, we have a compatibility issue with audio from a few specific products (eg, DirecTV HD DVR satellite set-top box, DISH Networks satellite set-top-box, and TiVo Premiere XL cable set-top-box). If you are experiencing problems with no audio or muted audio with one of your HDMI sources, then please try changing the audio settings on your problematic HDMI source to PCM or LPCM. Then turn off the TV, remote power from the WirelessHD adapters, and power off the HDMI source. Now power everything back on. If you are still experiencing no audio then please write down the model number of your HDMI source with no audio and contact VIZIO customer support.

I dont know exactly how to fix it, but if you take it to a games place and ask them, they should tell you. They wont have to do it for you. Just try and you may end up getting a new one! Good luck.

Toshiba 61h70 Picture Problems Hello, I have a Toshiba 61h70 TheaterView HD Projection TV, and was recently having some slight convergence issues (red was out of alignment and could not be adjusted). So I researched and found that the IC?s (STK392-110) needed to be replaced. I initially purchased them on eBay, to later find out that they were cheap clones and did not work (they made the convergence worse, actually). I then purchased 100% Sanyo IC?s from a reputable dealer and replaced the IC?s again. Once finished, I then entered the service menu and adjusted the convergence alignment. Once the alignment was perfect, I hooked back up the TV antenna, the DVD player (composite), and the S-video from my computer. The convergence is fine, but now I?m having a totally different issue ? the video is ?scrolling?. The menus will show up fine, however any incoming video inputs will show up okay for a split-second, but will then flash and the picture starts to scroll in different directions. This happens with any of the video inputs. I checked and changed all the service menu items to factory defaults, however this had no effect. I have pasted a link below to a short video that illustrates the issue that I?m having. Please note that the video starts off with a black screen, showing the ?input? menu, and then I selected the ?TV input? and changed the channels. You will see the picture fine for a moment when the channel is first changed, but then the picture will start to scroll. Any ideas of what would be causing this? And how can I correct the issue? I?m not a TV repair expert, so I?m not even sure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.₪t=TV_Troubles.flv
