Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Microsoft Windows XP Home EditionThis is the system requirements for this software, also operating systems that it will work with.
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows Vista Your only option is to contact family tree for help, sorry.
This software is not compatible with Windows Vista. I believe you can only use it with XP. 3D Home Architect Deluxe from Broderbund has been discontinued. Only works with: Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/Xp Pentium II class processor (300 MHz or higher) 96 MB RAM (128 MB Recommended)
There is a version 6.0 of this software but has bad reviews. I found a better rated software like this one: Home Design Architectural Series 18 This has received "TopTenREVIEWS Gold Award".
It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP It does not list a driver for Vista or Windows 7 which makes me believe it is not compatible. here is a link to the web although it is extremely limited
If it will work on 2000 then it will work in XP, But with Vista it might not, after installing it on Vista! Right click on the Icon you use to start the program, go to Advance and change the option to run as XP SP2 option and give that a go
A fix for my setup (Windows Vista, Dell Latitude D530, Mobile Intel Chipset 965 Express) was to reduce the screen's colour depth from 32 bit to 16 bit. Do this via Control Panel->Adjust screen resolution.
