Hi, my Logik LE22A13BTCDG864 with built in dvd player has no Volume but the picture is fine can you help plrasse

Check whether the audio is muted by accidental press at remote control button. Enter its sound menu, and check it. If muted, as you know there will be no audio output. If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. No sound but picture fine

It is very simple to troubleshoot any sound problem by checking the followings:
1- Speakers ( Check for continuity)
2- External sound jacks( maybe short circuited or need re-soldering)
3- Sound amplifier IC
4- Sound amplifier IC supply voltage ( Can be tested)
5- Sound mute function ( Check that it is not activated)
6- Volume control
7- Sound settings on the main menu

I have a Sharp LC37D43U TV that has no audio. The volume indicator shows can be moved up or down but no sound comes through the speakers. The picture works fine. I have nothing else connected to the TV....

It appears you ve discovered the sound task levers required to adjustment properties. Your Tv can still move levers even when the volume is set to mute. Select the unmute button before any voice or audio would be reactivated. Assuming that seting the TV on mute has predominant integrety over the volume functions where not unmuting usually with the same button on the remote would not achieve accessibility to the volume functions. refer to the TV user guide for diagnostic audios. Good luck

Bougth in my 2004 Compaq; work fine; Last week tried using no sound no recording.

It's possible your volume has been muted. Look down where your clock is, if there's a small speaker icon, click it once. A menu will pop up with the volume controls, and if the "mute" box is checked all you have to do is uncheck it. If the slider is at the bottom of the box, slide it up until you have sound.

If there is no speaker icon, do this: Click Start. Click Control Panel. Double-click Sounds and Audio Devices. This will bring up the sound control, and you need to check the box beside "Place volume icon in the taskbar". Also, there's an option to mute the volume above that; uncheck the box if it's already checked. This will keep the speaker icon down by your clock so you can adjust the volume anytime.

If this doesn't solve your problem, check that your speakers are plugged into the right hole in the back of your PC (not in the microphone jack). There will be little pictures beside each of the jacks so you know which is which. And if your speakers themselves have volume knobs/buttons, make sure they're turned up.

If none of this is helping you, your sound card may have come loose or become defective, so you should have a professional inspect it and possibly replace it. But it's very, very likely that your volume is muted or your speakers are unplugged. You can try using headphones if you think your speakers may be defective!

Hope this helps!
