HI THERE,MY 2007 MODEL HUMMER H3 JUST STARTED TO LOSE POWER AND WHEN SWITCHED OF IT WAS COPLETELY DEAD,ONCE I GOT IT GIONG NOT LONG AFTER THAT THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON,NOW I SEE THAT THE RADIATOR ARE...

There is a temperature shutoff function in the computer. When the engine gets too hot, the computer will shut off the engine to protect it. Many components in the hummer engines are temp sensitive - meaning if they get too hot, they will be ruined. If your H runs fine when cold but shuts down once hot, then it is possible the sensor went bad - but I would first have the codes scanned to see what the computer says about the problem!!
Hope this helps!

Computer get hot and shut down

Clean the fan. The fan is probably getting hot and the computer has an automatic shut off. To help with this issue, update the bios of the computer. Just google your computer type and the newest bios.

My computer continues to shut-down for no apparent reason while booting up. It will get to bios then abruptly shutdown. Please Help!!

Maybe something is defective from the factory? Can you bring it back and exchange it for another? Is it a desktop or a laptop? If it's a desktop, maybe remove a side panel and aim a small fan at the inside. Do you know how to start up your computer in safe mode? Maybe try starting it in safe mode and see if you can do a system restore, do you know what that is and how to do it? Google will explain it to you, but I'd suggest those steps.

Computer shutting off

shutting off when? Shutting off immediately when you try to start it? Shutting off after it has run for a while?

If it is shutting off after it has run for a while, then it is probably running hot. If you try to restart it immediately it will not boot. If you let it cool off for a while then it will boot successfully (definitely a sign of running hot).

Things that make a computer run hot:
1) Dust in the vents, fans, cpu & heat sink and all inside the computer.
2) Fan not working
3) The Thermal Paste on the cpu and heat sink has either dried up or is too thin to keep it cool.

If it shuts down immediately after it has been sitting for a while then it's not running not and your system has some other problem.

My laptop turn off, I think it got hot, I can't turn it on now. turn off Sunday

Hi
try this,
unplug dc plug from laptop. remove battery.
wait a few minutes. press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds.
plug the dc power plug back into the laptop, but do not put battery back in yet. Then try to power on. if it powers on, let it run a few minutes, but best to keep checking to see if it is getting warm or hot anywhere. if it is getting hot shut it down immediately. If it isnt getting hot then shut it down and put the battery back in.

if it doesnt power up, then i would have to suspect heat damage to the motherboard.

Top of keyboard gets hot and shuts off frequently.

The reason it is shutting down is because it is overheating. It used to happen to me as well. Are you using this on a bed or other soft object?

When is the Hipro HP-A2007AE power supply cooling fan to be on?

The fan should run constantly. It needs to be replaced. Otherwise the power supply will shut down when it gets hot. It can usually be replaced, but if the supply is cheap, just go out and get a new one.
