The circuitry is quite complex inside these units and-so If it's a broken wire then MAYBE you could repair it, but if it's one of the multitude of 10 to 40 pinned surface-mounted IC's...well, good luck.

Removing vocals

I dont think you can remove the vocals on audacity because it uploads it all as one stream whereas all the audio needs to be separated from the start. Maybe try and download the song as a backing track without vocals?

No mic coming though on vocalist live 4

Sounds like the mic you are using requires "Phantom Power." This means, you will likely have to purchase an external unit for this power (+48V) power to the unit. I use a Behringer Ultra-Voice Pro for mine. Works great!! You can find these on Ebay at a steal!

How to turn off vocal on Emerson GM527 so that we can only hear the music and sing along.

Note that you MUST use the special Karaoke disks to be able to remove the vocal... it will not do it for plain music CD's. Those devices that CLAIM to remove vocals often do so poorly... they do it by subtracting the left and right channels which ASSUMES the lead vocal is centered between the channels... Those methods don't work very well...

I want to record vocal voice trhought mic on psr 9000

You could record short "samples" to be used in building new voices, however, it does NOT appear that you can record a vocal song with the PSR9000. The Tyros II and III have the capability to record vocals but the PSR9000 and Tyros I do not..

When playing back an arrangement, you can re-sing the song and have the vocal harmonizer track the arrangement.

After a few minutes of use, there is clipping and sound cutting out with the guitar through. Vocal and harmony are fine. I tried using different guitar cords, different guitars, different amps to no avail....

Hi,

I know you hate this answer, but it needs to be repaired. It has a circuit board inside, and there's really not a work-around. But it is broken. I totally understand about not wanting to send your gear out, especially if it's a pedal board you have set just right, and are completely usweed to using. You'll be a lot happier with it if you get it fixed though. Or find another one on eBay. I sold all me Digitech pedals when I got my Pod - but that's just me, I use a lot of distortions and it fit the bill better for me. I used Digitech pedals for about 20 years and thought I would hate anything else.

Take care.

I need to output guitar and vocal separately. No matter how I hook it up guitar comes thru the vocal channel

Hi there. Use the "pan" pots to assign the guitar to left channel and all other pans to right channel. Also, turn all effects off or down all the way. (Effects return all the way down.
Thanks
Paul
