Follow procedure on fluke networks site (if you are talking about firmware), try both modules and if it work with one then next time they are connected (through PLA and CH adapters) the other unit will be upgraded

Error 1 is an indication that the self test has failed. This will require repair at an authorized Fluke service center. There is an internal problem with the meter. The only thing that you can try is to replace the internal battery. Should the battery be defective, the internal testing can be effected. I have only seen this occur once, but it is worth the attempt. Should a new battery not fix the problem, return the meter to Fluke for repair.
