Are the games original ?
Have you tried cleaning the lens ?
Chances are the lens is eighter dirty or burnt. If cleaning it doesnt resolve the problem, you will need to purchase and replace the lens. If you have xperience in electronics, you simply need to open the console and replace the lens with the new one.
Please make sure your games areoriginal and the correct region. If the PS# is brand new then check the games, Ig the games played before then its the lens.
im follow this on from the other solution when it says if its turned on and it doesnt auto run then you might try restoring default settings
or the ps3 doesnt recognise the game but it can still be read
ive had this problem.its the harddrive.ive repaired a couple of ps3's with this problem.usually just replace the harddrive and it should be ok.it may ask for the 2.60 firmware via a usb device.
but ive got a 40gb at the mo that ive had the same problem with ive replaced the harddrive and tried to upgrade the firmware but the ps3 doesnt recognise the update. if you have this problem then im thinking the motherboard may be buggered or the hard drive controller which cannot be replaced
