Does the mouse have a small wireless reciever that plugs into the USB port on your PC? If so be sure its plugged in correctly and your USB port works. Also those receivers sometimes have connect-to buttons that must be pressed after turning on the mouse.
It could be a couple of things. Make sure the reciever and mouse are connected. Usually a button on the reciever and then push the button on the mouse. If you can try changing channels-Make sure you are using a mouse pad. Different sufaces cause different responses Check Task manager and see if you CPU is hitting 100% usage. The mouse can lock up and release when you have high usage.
If none of that works be more specific as to what you tied etc
you must keep the batteries out for a few minutes and unplugged then re plug to a new usb port. hit the connect/ reset button on reciever alone with batteries still out of remote then put the new batteries in (lights come on remote you know you have good batteries) and then hit connect on that. that should work if not you must hit connect at the exact same time. thats how i fixed mine.
this is usually pretty simple. Just connect the usb device to the notebook. Then it should say driver installed ok or something to that affect.
if you have already done this and its not working did you try to sync the mouse with the reciever. to do this you have to connect the usb to the notebook. then hit the button on top of the reciever (the thing that connects to the notebook.) then hit the button on the bottom of the mouse. then click the left mouse button and it should work. it should be noted that you have to do this if you replace the batteries as well. thanks
Steven.
the only thing i can think of is if its usb you need to resynce the devices if you have tried that i cannot think of anything else :)
steven.
to resync them you just need to hit the button on the reciever (thing that connects to the computer) and hit the button on the bottom of the keyboard then go repeat the same thing for the other device.
Steven.
The reciever for this mouse does not have a light, however, your USB might be a dud (on your computer) so try another port. Also replace the batteries inside your mouse with new ones. This should fix the problem. Then reconnect them with the button on the reciever. Also make sure to hit the power button on the bottom of the mouse. If this does not work, then your mouse if fried and you need a new one.
Make sure you have fresh batteries...usually this is how to set up a wireless keyboard and mouse. Insert the reciever in the USB and hit the link button normally located as a recessed button on the bottom, a light will blink....On the keyboard press the button as before located as a recessed button on the bottom. Once linked the reciever light should stop blinking...do the same with the mouse.
I had the same problem, please check if the batteries are fitted properly, if not the put them properly, it should solve the problem.
Batteries on Mouse/Keyboad and reciever(if any), if its a optical kind of thing, it gives problem, later I got the laser one, it works perfect.
You need to make sure that the mouse is near the receiver, or that the reciever didn't fall down or got moved too far away from the PC/desk or the mouse itself. Furthermore, check to make sure that the batteries you inserted were new or fully charged batteries.
