If there is some dampness on the circuit board, you should take the necessary steps to make sure the board is completely dry otherwise it will probably be impossible to reset it. Make sure the drain is not obstructed and that the pump or drain valve is functioning ok, then turn of power, wait 15 second and start it again, this should return to normal.

SOURCE: Hi, Dishwasher problem: When a programme

You will need to check the inlet valve and the water level pressure switch. It can also be a low pressure in the pump that is giving out the signal for the control board to shut off.
So first of all check the water line throughly to confirm.

BOSCH Classixx 6 cod eror E3

The error 3 code signals a pump fault. This is most often a blockage in the filter, (Front right bottom corner) and often behind the removable kick strip. If your machine is Full of Water, do not remove this filter until you have got the water from out of the machine manually. This is explained in my next posting. Assuming only a little water remains in the drum, then a big towel to soak this up is all that is needed. Proceed and remove the filter and clean out all the debris, taking time to look and feel inside the filter housing for small coins, buttons, nails etc etc. It is advisable that while you are doing this, to check the sump pipes that come from the base of the drum to the pump and any other pipe that is attached to the filter housing. You may need to tilt the machine back to do this or alternatively dis-connect all pipes and lay down on its side to allow better and easier access. Check all pipes thoroughly and replace correctly ensuring a good fit and tight clamps. Hopefully now you pump will work correctly and discharge the water, typically emptying a full drum in no more than 30 seconds. Please see next posting on 'How to empty drum manually' Hi There, Is your Bosch full of water? If it is empty you can place towel down on floor in front of filter door, usually bottom right corner looking from front and then remove the filter by turning anti-clockwise. The towel is just to catch the residue of water that is always left in the machine even when working properly, around a pint. If your machine is full of water you will need to drain off the excess first, before removing the filter, unless of course you have your machine outside or an area that can cope with a lot of water spewing out. To drain off excess, take empty hose from back of machine and lower into a washing up bowl. If the empty hose(Usually grey in colour) is jubilee clipped half way up back of machine, please remove this clip to aid siphoning into washing up bowl. Once all water is drained you can then proceed with emptying/cleaning the filter as earlier described. If you cannot see the filter at the front (usually right hand side) base then you may need to remove the plastic kick strip that runs across the front base with flat blade screwdriver being careful not to break the plastic retaining tabs that will hold it back in place when you are finished.

Tip

AEG Electrolux Lavamat 50600 is not spinning here are a few work throughs

Download manual
First off that was a link to the online user manual. If this was the first time using the machine did you follow the recommended first time use procedure by following these steps:
Before using your machine for the first time
0 Slightly pull the detergent compartment out of the control panel.
0 Pour about 1 liter of water through the detergent compartment into the washing machine.
When this has been done the ?KO lock can function correctly.
0 Run a wash cycle without laundry (COTTONS 95, with half the amount of washing powder).
This removes any residues from the drum which may have been left during manufacture.

If you have used this prior to the problem occurring try this:
The issues for not spinning are numerous as to what may cause this and it appears to be a lot but most of it is rather simple :
If there is water in the drum you need to follow the pump out procedure and remove water in the drum. Then there may be a "Bend" in the inlet hose. If there is water reaching the drum this is the possible causes and simple to check:
Water is leaking out from under the washing machine.
Fabric softener is not added, compartment for fabric softener is filled with water.
Appliance does not spin, water in the drum.
Washing has not been spun sufficiently, there is water left in the drum.
Door cannot be opened.
The rinse water is cloudy.Possible cause
The inlet hose connection is not tight.
The inlet hose has a leak.
The drain pump cover is not tight.
Washing is caught in the door.
Suction cap in the fabric softener compartment is not correctly fitted or is blocked.
RINSE HOLD selected.
SOAKING program is terminated.
There is a "Bend" in the outlet hose.
Maximum pumping height (drain height 1 m from the position of the machine) is exceeded.
Drain pump is blocked.
The water drainage system is blocked.
The door is locked due to safety reasons
Probably caused by a washing powder with a high silicate content.
Troubleshooting these are the remedies:
Tighten the inlet hose connection.
Check the inlet hose and if necessary replace it.
Tighten cover by turning clockwise.
Abort the program, remove the washing caught in the door, start a new program.
Clean the detergent compartment, fit the suction cap on firmly.
Deselect RINSE HOLD.
Pump out water and set the main wash cycle as desired.
Eliminate the Bend ( it would not allow me to use the proper word here see manual.)
Please contact AEG Service Force Centre, it has a retro- kit available for pump heights above 1 m.
I would definitely try this as it appears to the reset procedure for this machine:
Switch off the machine and pull the plug out of the socket
I would say no less than 20 minutes
but do this while waiting further:
clean the drain pump.
Clean the blockage
Carrying out an emergency emptying
1 Warning! Isolate the washing machine from the main supply before the emergency emptying!
If the washing machine no longer pumps out the water an emergency emptying must be carried out.
Warning! The water, which flows out of the emergency emptying hose can be hot.
First allow the water to cool down before emergency emptying!
0 Put down a flat container to catch the water draining out.
0 Pull down the flap in the left corner of the base strip and remove it.
0 Release the emergency emptying hose from its holder.
0 Pull the emergency emptying hose out a little.
0 Place a container underneath to catch the water.
0 Release the plug of the emergency emptying hose by turning it anti-clockwise and pull it out.
The water will drain out. Depending on the amount of water, it may be necessary to empty the container catching the water several times.
To do this, temporarily close the emergency emptying hose again with the plug. When the water has drained out completely:
0 Push and twist the plug firmly back into the emergency emptying hose.
0 Push the emergency emptying hose back in a little and let it catch onto the holder.
0 Replace the flap in the base plate and close it. When the washing machine is completely empty, the ?KO lock can no longer function correctly. Therefore before the next wash pour in approx 1 liter of water (pour it in through the washing powder compartment)
steps to Clean the drain pump
1 Warning! Switch off the washing machine and pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning the drain pump!
0 First carry out an emergency emptying (see section "Carrying out an emergency emptying").
0 Place a towel on the floor in front of the cover of the drain pump. Surplus water may flow out. 0 Unscrew the cover of the drain pump by twisting it anti-clockwise and pull it out.
0 Remove any foreign bodies which maybe in the pump housing.
0 Check whether the impeller of the pump can be turned. (It is normal forthe pump to turn in steps.) If the impeller cannot be turned at all please contact your local AEG Service Force Center.
0 Replace the cover (insert the ridges on the cover into the guiding slots)and screw on tightly in a clockwise direction.
0 Close the emergency emptying hose, push it in and twist.
0 Close the flap. I sure hope this helps a few people especially the one who I posted this for initially. GOOD Luck! If none of these suggestions work then best to call AEG for servicing, I strongly believe that the Bend in the inlet hose or the drain pump most likely the culprit and or any one of the other issues may well resolve the spin malfunction as well as possibly the main computer may have been goofed due to a slight power surge which unplugging from electric and turning off water for 30 minutes is the basic reset procedure for most electronics ( not all ;but most) while working through these steps should not hurt a thing.

I have been using the machine successflly for the last 4/5 washes. Today it goes through the washing cylce (35mins) and then stops at the spin. When I then move it on manually it works, so there is nothing...

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. In this case it is possible that the inlet filter, or the inlet valve is clogged or faulty and so does not allow free flow of water into the washer thus increasing the fill up time and so the wash time. remove the filter, valve , clean and reset.

The problem is with the spin cycle, its stops just hums as time ticks by and stops. Had to empty manually to drain water. Its a 5.5 LG fuzzy logic machine, any idea which part this may be?

Open the access door at the lower left on front of the machine. Use the hose there to drain the water out of the machine. Unscrew the big knob there and pull out the attached filter. Clean out filter and replace. If filter was clear, replace drain pump motor.

Descaling Single Boiler Home espresso machines (HOME SINGLE BOILER ESPRESSO MACHINES)

Approximately every 3 months (depending on your use and the water hardness), clean the machine with natural citric acid based decalcifying agent.
1. Add a descaling solution into the water reservoir. Mix thoroughly to dissolve (use warm water for better results).
2. Remove the filter holder and place a cup under the group head and another cup, or other container, under the steam wand to catch cleaning solution.
3. Turn espresso machine on, turn coffee pump on and run approximately 8 oz. of solution through the brew head. Turn machine off and let the machine sit for 15 minutes.
4.Run approximately 8 oz. through the steam wand, and again, turn machine off and let sit for 15 minutes.
Repeat by allowing solution to run alternately through the steam wand and brew head. Turn espresso machine off after each cycle. Repeat process until solution has been run through.
5. Do not leave espresso machine on. Do not wait for the ready light to come on. Do not use the steam switch during this process. Do not allow reservoir to run empty!
6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly with fresh water. Refill reservoir with fresh water. Run half a tank of fresh water through group head, alternating between group head and steam wand.

I have AL01 on my dish washer eny ideas?

Hi,

AL01 indicates activation of the anti flood device.

It sounds like water has leaked into the base of your machine.
Pull the appliance out, unplug it from the wall socket and tip it rearwards about 45 degrees. Drain the water out and once empty the anti flood should reset.

Try the machine again. If it faults during the test you may have a leak into the base.

Good luck with the repair
Hope this helps
Thanks.

Hoover easy logic error message number 3 model is a EL 160

E3 indicates Drain pump faulty; Wiring faulty; PCB faulty.

The service information also says it should stop with the door open.

Unplug the appliance and manually remove the water via the filter or front drain point if it's fitted.

Drain it into a shallow dish, tighten the filter when you need to stop the water (or plug the hose if draining via a hose) while you empty the container.

Once empty, try the door again.

Take the filter out and clean out any debris in it.

Plug the appliance in and put the machine on a drain program.

Listen/look at the open filter to check that the drain pump is running.
