Harvard is by Escalade Sports, their website is www.escaladesports.com. Calling their telephone number for replacement parts is better though, the telephone number is 1-866-556-2758. I hope this helps.

Also, with that scoreboard, I noticed on mine that the area where you install the batteries has a wiring issue.

Check the area for a loose red or black wire just dangling around. If you're electronically inclined, you should be able to resolder the wire to where it belongs.

Good luck!

Also, I like getting a cheap little 6V DC wall-plug transformer and directly wire it to the motor assembly. No more batteries make a a happy dad.

What are different types of air hockey tables?

There are two main types of air hockey tables: recreational (basic) tables and tournament (high-level) tables. Recreational tables come in different s, prices, and obviously, quality. Tournament tables on the other hand are 8 foot long and have the highest quality possible. For more information on air hockey tables, go to these websites: http://www.livestrong.com/article/247618-types-of-air-hockey-tables/ and http://www.justairhockeytables.com/air-hockey-tables/airhockeybuyingguidearticle.cfm

What are the rules in official air hockey games?

In official air hockey games, there are basic USAA rules that the players need to play by: Players can stand anywhere around their side of the air hockey table (center), but cannot go to the sides. Players cannot touch the puck (palming). If any part of their body or clothes touches the puck, a "palming foul" is called. Players can hit the puck with every part of the mallet, besides the bottom part. There should be only one puck during gameplay. A player can use only one air hockey mallet. A player cannot place the mallet on the puck in order to slow it or stop it (topping). When the puck is on the center line, both players can strike it. Once the puck is in the player's side of the centerline, he/she has 7 seconds to strike it back. I have a Harvard Model G03614F Air hockey table. Everything on the table is working except for the scoreboard. All of the wire and clips and molex plugs are where they should be except for 1 3 prong...

I would say the best bet it to call the Escalade Sports Customer Service number and see if they can help you get replacement parts. I am going to put a call in myself to get a new junction box (I have no power to the fans, but the scoreboard works) and some new strikers and a puck. I got my table from a friend who had been using it and then when I set it up it would not turn on...guess that explains why it was being stored in his garage when I picked it up!

The Escalade Sports Customer Service number is:
1-800-426-1421

Air hockey table keeps scoring on it's own.

This table uses low voltages for the scoring lever. I agree with fixer1950. Check / disassemble the goal / scoring assembly, and look for the scoring lever. sometimes just 2 metal plates. should see where it's touching the scoring strip and you can test it by moving it with your finger / pen / other device.

Try adjusting it further away, and test again with a puck to ensure proper operation..

Harvard air hockey scoing system

The controller is poorly designed and likely burned out. I am assuming you bought your's used. If it were new, you would see that each segment of the LEDs would burn out over time and stop displaying. I am rebuilding mine - I bought a microcontroller and and writing the programing from scratch. I have identified all of the pins on the controller and it will plug into all the cables on the bottom of the table. should have it done by New Years. Let me know, if it sounds like your problem. I can build an extra one - I'll check back here to see if you are interested.

Sportcraft Turbo Hockey table will not power up

The customer service is somewhat oblivious to their inventory and products they sell. But, if your table is not pushing the puck, call and order a new fan (easy swap out). Also, you may use a small pin and poke each air-hole as dust accumulates and clogs system (do not use a wax or polish, only damp soft cloth)

The control box is the interface to power scoreboard.(kids pushed the transformer cord in too hard and separated the circuitry panel inside CB). I am in process of replacing mine, model number 34090, part number 34090HG08, $5.00+ SH

There are comparable control box modules for similar turbo hockey games, Atomizer, which uses a similar control box that you can swap circuitry out to your old box. (Very simple, even a cave man can do it..hah). The key is the ability to put control box back together once you disassemble inerts. (The "flip" mechanism is so shoddy it never goes back together right)

Good luck with Sportcraft and their disposable $500-600.00 air hockey tables which have a lifespan of parts of less than 5 yrs!
