Stuck button on timex ironman watch

This is usually caused by dirt around the button sticking it into the hole. Try a drop of olive oil and turn the button gently or work it in and out until it loosens. I'm assuming this hasn't occurred immediately after a back removal? if so then the movement may have dislodged and the pusher may be on the wrong side of the contact. If this is the case remove the back and then the movement, push all of the buttons from the inside out to their furthest positions. carefully reinsert movement pushing each contact on the movement in turn as you lower that corner so as not to catch it on the pusher.

How do I reset the millisecond hand used in the stop watch function on my nixon Ride SS watch?

Try this:
Resetting Chronograph Hands:
Note: Some Nixon watches come equipped with a "screw-down" crown; the crown must be unscrewed by turning it counterclockwise before it can be pulled out)
1. Pull the crown all the way out to position 2.
2. Push the crown in slightly to position 1.
3. Push top pusher button to advance the second hand to line up with the 12:00 position
4. Push the crown back in. (Make sure it is screwed in if it is a screw crown)

How do I reset my tissot t touch expert

Steps to Synchronize the Hands
  1. Press the centre pusher (T). The watch should beep once.
  2. Touch the centre of the touch-sensitive face until opt appears, in opt select 24H Cm (or 12H Fft or 24H Fft or 12H Cm) is shown in the digital LCD display.
  3. Press and hold the centre pusher (T) for approximately 5 seconds. The watch will beep once and then again, a second time, after 5 seconds have passed. After the second beep, the digital LCD display should read SYNCHRO. If not, return to step one.
  4. Press the upper pusher (+) to advance the hour hand until it is positioned exactly at 12:00. (PH press T button to to switch to minute hand adjust)
  5. Press the lower pusher (-) to advance the minute hand until it is also positioned exactly at 12:00.
  6. When both hands are aligned together and pointing directly at 12:00, press the centre pusher (T) to save the setting. The hands of the watch are now synchronized

How much would a stop watch button for a jeep 03247 cost me as have some how lost mine and were can i get one from.

The technical term for the part you're describing is a "pusher." Depending on how the pusher was installed--some simply screw onto a little internal post, while others are installed from inside the watch case, it may be an extremely simple or only pretty simple repair for a watchmaker. Parts supply houses sell boxes of assorted pushers that repair technicians can use for exactly this type of repair, and any place that does watch repairs more complex than simple battery changes is likely to have replacement parts in stock.

I would expect a replacement pusher to cost a few dollars (~$5 or less), plus the labor to install it. That, unfortunately, will vary tremendously depending on the number of people in your area who can perform this type of repair and the complexity of the repair itself. It should cost very little to simply screw on a new pusher from outside the case--that will take only a minute or two to complete. It will take more time to remove a movement from the case to service a pusher that's installed from inside the case. I wouldn't expect labor for that to be less than $20; some places might try to charge more.

My tag heuer 2000 chronograph professional button hard to press

Yes it would seem unlikely that the dial would cause this problem. It is more likely to be the seal if the pusher seems hard to depress. Watches should be serviced every two to three years at which time pusher seals are usually replaced. Recommend you take it to a watchmaker for a service to maintain the watch properly.

All functions have ceased to operate - the reset works fine but none of the buttons seem to function. this problem started all of a sudden, i assumed maybe a button was stuck but they all seem ok?

Pooky

Indeed the buttons (pushers or pusher contacts) may have been jammed internally. The are a small piece of metal which is pushed my a cylindrcal rod (which you are pushing the outer part of it into the pusher contact).

Sometimes the pusher contact may have come out of alignment. or did you change the battery yourself? did you a/c it properly? (metal tweezer from the a/c with the battery)?

Hope this helps or sheds so light on your situation

24 hour time setting to 12 hour

You can't! Trust me I have been dealing with watches for 2 years now and currently work in the industry as a watchmaker's assistant.

There are different settings for each different brand, Casio have there own configure and so does Seiko etc.

Best way I know is to push buttons to something happens. Please note DO NOT DEPRESSED ALL PUSHERS AT ONCE, this 99.99% of the time will reset the entire device!.

Usually there is a 'reset' pusher which will once depressed (either immediately or after a few seconds of pushing it) will flash, then you work out which one is the 'next' button until you get to the 12/24hr then press the Up or down pusher (usually but NOT always opposite side to the 2 previously menitioned pushers).

As for auto's or quartz that's another matter.

Hope this helps?

Set Timex chronograph to zero

To adjust the chronogragh hands:

Pull the crown out to the "B" position (Timex defines the "A" position as all the way in, "B" as half way out and "C" as all the way out).

Press "Pusher B" (the button at the 4 o'clock position) repeatedly until the hand in the "10 o'clock eye" is at the 30 min (straight up) position.

Pull the crown out to the "C" position.

Press "Pusher A" (the button at the 2 o'clock position) repeatedly until the second hand resets to the "0" (or "60" or "12 o'clock") position.

Press "Pusher B" repeatedly until the hand in the "2 o'clock eye" is in the "0" (straight up) position.

Push in the crown all the way to the "A" position.

This has worked sucessfully on both my T2M467 and T2M552.

SECTOR CHRONOGRAPH 200 WATCH

That's easy. You need to calibrate it. In normal time mode, pull the crown out all the way and then use the pushers to step it back to the zero position. When finished, push the crown back in. You can also calibrate the sub-dails in a similar fashion.
