Should hopefully have a factory restore image built in simply press the correct key combo to start the installation. note it will delete everything on your computer. If on windows 10 try the windows reset utility first.

How to restore my dell 15.6 netbook

You don't necessarily have to wipe a computer to fix a virus (not usually anyway) try malwarebytes.org for the best malware scanner and/or avg for a great antivirus scanner. If you do need to wipe it then you will either need a Dell restore CD or Dell may have a hidden partition that you can get to, in order to do a restore. Check the Dell.com website for your make and model of netbook for more info.

My samsung netbook is not working because of virus and all of my installed applications together with my Anti virus cannot be open.

Your best bet would be to do a factory reset of your netbook. This will restore your netbook to its original state. On most Samsungs to achieve this press F4 on startup and you will be given the option to reset netbook.

How to restore asus eee top et2203t to factory settings

One way to clear an Asus PC of problems or viruses is to restore it to its original factory settings. This will wipe the computer clean and give you a fresh start. The idea of restoring your laptop may be intimidating, but there is no programming involved. In fact, these laptops are designed to be restored in a short period of time.

1Turn off the Eee PC. Press the power button or select the shut down option from the computer's main desktop screen.

2.Turn the unit on and press the "F9" when the flash (logo) screen appears. A menu will appear with a list of options to choose from.

3.Select the "Restore Factory Settings" option from the bottom of the list in the menu and type "Yes" when prompted to verify the reset.

4.Press "Enter" when prompted by the computer to reboot the system. Wait a few seconds for the system to reboot.

5.Follow the prompts on screen to accept the licensing agreement and configure your settings.

I wanted to restore my netbook to factory settings...

The Toshiba notebook laptop comes with the Windows XP operating system pre-installed. If viruses and other malicious programs have infected your laptop's hard drive, they can slow down your laptop and prevent you from accessing the Internet. You can fix these problems by using the recovery disc included with your operating system to restore the laptop back to its original factory settings.

1. Place the recovery disc, label-side up, into your Toshiba disc drive.

2. Let the program load completely, which takes just a few seconds.

3. Press the "Escape" keep to move forward to the installation process.

4.Change the drive's name to "C:/," a common name for drives in laptops.

5.Choose a name for your laptop, and click "Next" to finish the re-installation of Windows XP.

I hope you find it very helpful.

How do i reset my toshiba lap top

If you get a virus on your computer, information may become corrupted and lost forever. If this happens to your Toshiba laptop, many times the only recourse is to restore your Toshiba to its factory settings. Ideally before starting the process you should have all things you wish to save on an external hard drive or backed up some other way. Resetting the laptop is good to do once a year to ensure no viruses are lingering.
1. Power on the laptop. Wait to see the "Toshiba" logo appear on the screen.
2. Press "F12" when the logo appears. This will bring up the utility menu. Click "Restore Original Factory Package" or press "1" to execute. Click "next" to begin the restoration process.
3. Follow the prompts that require you to enter the time, date, name, etc.
I hope you find it very helpful.

Please rate it.

Thank you very much.

Windows will not finish loading in any mode and ends with bsod.

You need to re-install the original discs that came with your laptop in order to restore it to the original factory settings, also i recommend going to CNET.com and getting the AVAST anti-virus program, it is free and as long as you use it for personal use, and it is the best anti-virus program on the market, it was also the only anti-virus on the market that was ready for the worm that was set too release on april 1st.........check it out.............hope this helps
