Question about Hotpoint Ultima WF860 Front Load Washer
Hotpoint washing machine ultima wd 865
An ‘F05’ error is caused by the pressure switch actually being forced on full, or being faulty although this is unlikely. You will need to per off the machine at the mains, remove and thoroughly clean the filter and replace it. Turn the mains on and power up the machine, set it to a short wash cycle and make sure that the drain pipe actually passes water to show that the pump is working properly. If it does then you will need to have a service engineer visit as the control module is likely to be at fault and if it does not pass water then power off the machine, switch off at the mains and see if the exit pipe is blocked. If not then the water pump is most likely faulty and a service visit will be required.

I think you mean error F05 for a Hotpoint washer.
it means the pressure switch is jammed on full, check pump is working o/k and if there is a filter, remove and clean it, see user instructions..
If still no joy, then you will have to call an engineer..
Plz rate this solution.
