Question about Akai PDP-4249G 42 in. EDTV-Ready Plasma Television
The speakers of the Akai is good so it is tempting to open it louder hence the chance of damaging higher. Try this to find out if your speakers are damaged....... raise the volume if no sounds, 1. remove the cable connection of the speakers from the TV whilst still connected to the speakers. 2.use a 1.5v battery to bridge the free ends of the disconnected cables, if you can hear sound...scratchy sound then the speakers are not damaged then 3. Connect a new external speaker to the TV if still no sounds, post back a message
