Question about Sony VAIO VGN-CR220E/P Notebook
I am a laptop/PC technician and this problem is probably being caused by either a loose or damaged screen cable inside the laptop, a faulty or overheating graphics card or an incorrect graphics driver.
Unfortunately without actually seeing it I can't say which it is, but I would first off get a PC or laptop specialist to check to see if the graphics card driver software is correct, as this is easy and quick to sort out if this is your problem.
If this isn't the problem then I would just backup all your documents/files and return the laptop to Sony under warranty as a hardware fault could be expensive to repair.
I hope this helps.
