Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
I had the same problem with my front load washer. A technician came and fixed it and showed me what to do in the future if it ever happened again. I had to take off the front bottom panel, and on the lower right side there was a screw-top about the size of a golf ball. When I unscrewed it -- have you a bucket ready -- water would drain out and the drain would be stopped up with all kinds of stuff -- chapstick containers, baby socks, q-tips, toothpicks, hair, etc. Once this was unstopped, I would screw the top back on and it would be good for a couple of months. Whenever it started taking a really long time for the clothes to wash or the clothes were coming out too wet, I knew the drain was stopped up again. This is probably also the cause for the suds -- it's just not draining properly. Hope this helps -- I had SO many problems with my front load (with the biggest being stinky laundry), I got rid of it and got a basic washer and dryer.
