Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have an LG RZ32LZ55 TV and all the sites I have checked say it is HD Ready. Bought a PS3 today and a DVI to HDMI connection lead. When I switch on the PS3 it says HD connection detected. Graphics and picture on Blu Ray poor so went to settings to switch to HDMI - does not give option to connect automatically and if I choose to change to HDMI the screen goes blank for 30 seconds then goes back to prev menu. Any suggestions?
You most likely have the updated drivers. You may have to go and change a setting. I found an answer on the PS3 website that may be of some use to you. I hope this helps you: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3&message.id=1662191 From the site: "go to bd/dvd setting and set the "108024hz" option off"

Try using the regular A/V cable, its not going to be in HD quality but it might clear the washed out view, and you might get a better picture even tho not in high definition

double check display settings then the first open under there to see what it is set at maybe it defaulted back to 480 instead of hdmi 1080. Also try doing a lens cleaning from the disc that are brushless kmart sells them, and walmart but only online for wal mart this can drastically improve if its just a dirty lens doing it.
