Well, unless they are following you, then they are probably using the GPS locator on your cell phone. In settings on either an iPhone or Android phone, there are location or positioning services, just turn the GPS function off.

If you are not carrying around a cell phone or you try not carrying it and they still know, then perhaps you should see the police.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I have a Hoover Rewind, the plug always got hot, tonight it just stopped working, I know it is not expensive and older but I really don't want to buy a new one if I can avoid it at this moment

I am not sure of the motor wattage but it is unlikely to exceed 2kw and is probably much less so that sort of load being plugged into a power outlet capable of safely delivering a much larger current is unlikely to cause heating of the plug. That the plug did become hot indicates a poor contact between the supply cables and power outlet, between the power outlet and plug or what seems the most likely, between the plug and the power cord.

Given that the plug has been getting hot and that most breakdowns of portable appliances including vacs are internal breaks of the power cord usually at or somewhere near the plug, so that would be a good place to start testing...

My friend set up new email for me and set my new cellphone up with it. I dont know the password how can I sign in my new phone with unknown password

You can't Mia.

You would have to ask your friend what password they set you up with. Usually friends would say "Mia, I have to put a password in. What would you like me to set it to"? Then you end up with a password that is easily remembered to you. The problem is though that your friend also knows your password and can snoop on your mail. My advice would be to change it straight after he tells you what it is. You would do this from the mail website.

Also, once the password is set, you don't usually have to enter the password again. you should also set up an alternative way to get a password reset code it you ever need it. This is usually as a text to your phone or to an alternative email address.

Hi Tranne Brookover,

Try logging out completely and use a different browser like Internet Explorer, chrome, Firefox, etc to check if the same issue happens there.
There is a possibility that this could be a browser issue so let me know which browser are you using?

Thanks and Regards.

I have recently bought an Omron HJ-109 pedometer which has given very erratic results, considering that I walk the same distance every day. Today I stopped for a quick chat to a friend and the pedometer...

To be honest with you, the cheap ones are the best. As a nurse, they are the ones that are used in hospital and rehab centers, they are cheap, and they work, and can be tossed or just simply given to the client at discharge. BUT, as you already have the unit, I would make sure that you attach it to the same belt, hoop, whatever you are attaching it too, keep it the same way every time. yes I also know that we do not like to wear the same workout clothes or outfit every time, but it really does matter, go figure! Take care.... Guy
