SOURCE: im looking for a replacement main unit in working

Hello
At Fixya we are a technical advice service, in other words we help you fix things that are broken or help with technical issues such as how to use a device or set it up for use, we do not however have any site resources for new or used parts of any kind. My suggestion here is that you try eBay, they often have this type of item up for auction used, just check the auctions every few days and in many cases you will be successful in finding a used system or a suitable replacement.

No radio display

Check your dimmer dial by the head light switch, it may be on the off or very low position.
I don\'t think a fuse would be the problem if the radio still works.
If not then you may have a bad display on your radio and it may be time to replace the radio for a kicking stereo you always wanted...

I have a panasonic SA PM91D stereo system and have lost the remote moving recently. Does anyone know a manual way to select and program radio/tuner stations without the remote.?

Hello
I think that you haven't the operating manual to your Panasonic system. I've the manual to your system, but I can't send it to you by this site, as it does not allow me to upload any files by it. If you send your email address by Fixya comment box, I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail, which have all details you need. OK.

I have a panasonic cd stereo system model number sa-ak29 every time that I turn it off 1 second later it come back on.

your system isn't turning back on it is a demo screen. find the button that says something about a demo and press it while the system is off. if that doesnt work press and hold the button while the system is off. if that doesn't work refer to your manual on how to shut off the demo

Panasonic SA-AK29 Disc Drawer won't stay closed.

It is quite possible that the timing within the mechanism had changed. Since the timing is quite important to activate the mode switch to triggerr the sequential action of the mechanism to proceed accordingly, a small change in any of the links can change the mode to keep away from resetting. Please open the set and check if there is any foreign particles lodged into the dirve mechanism. Clean and proceed. Check carefully for any sensors that are out of sync.If you are not sure do not attempt but try tomake a small correction to complete the loading so as the complete the mode. If so the fault might clear. Hope this helps you out.Good day

1990 Cougar No display dashboard or radio

I am not sure if you mean the dash lights or just the radio display
cause there was some models with small bulbs behind the dash and you had to replace the bulbs and some of them you had to replace the cluster and if you have to replace it and you go to a salvage yard look at the date just inside the drivers door and find one as close to that date as you can and it should work and as for the radio there is a bulb behind the radio
