SOURCE: Century Dyna-Glo Propane Construction Heater, fan stays on?

The heater is designed to continueously run the igniter , so as if there is a flame-out ,it will reignite the burner, and not dispurse unburned gas into your enviroment.

SOURCE: propane heater has spark but wont light

ODS/Pilot may be clogged make sure you clean it out according to the instructions in your owner's manual. If you need a copy of the manual let me know and I will try to find it for you. If it is still not working it could be the gas regulator or the ignitor cable. For Glow warm parts contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 or you also can find them online at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps you!

SOURCE: I have Legacy ventless propane heater 15,000btu.

Try to take pilot assembly apart and clean real good. This will work most of the time. If it does not work for you, you will need to replace the gas valve. It's expensive but I'm about positive that cleaning it will fix it. Gas burns dirty and after a couple seasons a scale builds up that causes this problem. It's pretty common and nothing to worry about after it's cleaned. Good luck.

Ao appears after ignigtion

Either the fan is not working, or the fan prover (pressure switch) switch is stuck. If you can hear the fan going strong, it is most likely the switch. You may try to just clean it out, but you may need a replacement.

This error is produced when the blower prover switch does not close after the blower starts, the control will stop the ignition and go into lockout. Automatic reset is immediate after the blower prover switch closes.

If you keep having this problem, contact a reputable service company, especially if it's under warranty.

The link to the owners manual is below, it references fault codes, etc..

Hope this helps.

I have a Dyna Glo propane heater can not find the owners books and the fan don't run when I plug it in. Can you tell me where to get parts for mine? It is a model RMC-FA40

Have you checked to ensure the fan can turn freely, is not jammed/blocked/stuck, rubbing against the sides, or have bent blades? Is the electrical cord damaged? Are you sure the circuit breaker isn't tripped and the heater is getting electrical power?

You can obtain copies of heater manuals online from the GHP Group Inc, by clicking here. The manual for the RMC-FA40 models (a few different ones) can be downloaded by clicking here.

The manual will contain wiring diagrams & exploded views of the heater with parts identified for replacement. To order replacement parts, contact your local authorized service center, or if you don't have one, contact the GHP Group at: (877) 447-4768.

In the Troubleshooting section of the manual (page 7 of the manual), the first item is:

Fan does not turn when electrical connection is made.

It then lists the Possible Cause and Corrective Action, up to replacing the motor.

I hope this will help you get your heater up and running in short order.
