HELP!! (dell precision 340) im getting 4 screens when i turn on m

1st screen: we apologize for the inconvenience, but windows didn't start successfully. a recent hardware change might have caused this. if your pc stopped responding , restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose last known configuration to revert to most recent settings that worked. if a previouse startup attempt was interupted due to a power falure or because the power or reset button was pressed, or if u aren't sure what caused the problem, choose start windows normally. safe mode;safe mode with networking; safe mode with command prompt last known good configuration (your last known settings that worked) start windows normally use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice. seconds until windows starts:00 2nd screen: is a black screen with windows microsoft xp logo. this screen flashes very quickly. 3rd screen: is bright blue with a lot of white writing and it flashes very, very quickly I can't make out what it says. 4th screen; is black with large blue letters spelling dell. PLEASE if anyone can help me fix this it will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advanced.

Reboot into Safe Mode by repeatingly tapping on F8 while in process of rebooting and then select "last known good configuration". If that fails reboot again to safe mode and select safe mode with command prompt and in the command prompt type "chkdsk /f /r " <enter>

If that doesnt work do place your Windows CD into the Cd-Rom, reboot and select option "Repair"

Restart the computer and press F9. This will bring up your Asus System Recovery. Follow the prompts on screen. This will take approximately 20 mins to do but it should fix the problem. Hope this helps : ) If it doesn't or you are unable to bring up the System Recovery screen let me know.

If you added any exta hardware means kindly remove it and boot the computer
Then you try boot by selecting the option of Boot using last known good configuration.
If the boot is successful then you can boot later booting without any problem.

If boot is not successful and this problem is happened after installing any software or driver software means boot in safe mode by pressing f8 key and uninstall it
