Question about HP Computers & Internet
When installing norton i accidently deleted the network adapters now i used system restore but the icons have exclamation points by them and cannot connect to the internet

This happened to me when I had to install a wireless router in my house using my laptop to initialize the network for the first time.
The start up software messed with my settings for wireless detection on my laptop. It turned off the automatic detect for wireless networks in the
"Wireless Zero Configuration"
(This has the settings for the 802.11 wireless adapters
i.e. the one that comes with the R4000 presario)
to get to this hit start>run...
and type in this:
go to "Wireless Zero Configuration" and enable automatic startup
, if the service is stopped, start it.
hit the apply button to save your settings.

Try having a System Restore on your computer back to the date before you installed the wireless HP printer device and software.

it looks as if you may have uninstalled a driver,If you have the driver disk you should reinstall it or go to the Acer website and download it from there
