You need to tell me what the burner is doing when it starts up. Some basics to look for:
1- bleed pump of any air- is it a new install? 2- If you are getting fuel, are you getting spark on the electrodes? 3- if you are, you may need to adjust draw assembly air, and or air intake per Carlin specs.

Columbia oil burner w/ Beckett/Honeywell primary ignitor, motor, transformer, etc. I must push the interm. ign. oil primary to fire up the oil burner & the fire goes out after approx. 45 sec. Ho

It sounds as though the control may not be the problem. Is the burner actually firing ? Are you getting a good strong flame?. If so the cad cell may be the problem . Make sure the wiring to the cad cell is correct and there is nothing blocking the cell from the flame.
Try a different cad cell to see if that solves the problem. If you are not getting flame check the transformer. If that is okay check the gap of the electrodes. Hope this helps

Pilot relighting Garland Commercial range

The main burner valve is the oven valve. The pilot will be next to the burner and you either have to insert a long shiskabob stick ( lit) into the hole or lift up on the bottom of the oven (inside) and you will see the pilot.
