Question about Dishwashers
When the water stops too soon, it could be the "over flow" is stuck in the downward position, therefore the dishwasher thinks it's going to over flow. Check that out. Otherwise I'm afraid this sounds like the circuit board is shot.

First try taking the inner door panel off on the control bd will be a ribbon there is a tiny black or white plastic you pull up to unlock the ribbon pull the ribbon off and gently clean it with a pencil eraser and reconnect it see what happens then..
Also Try to "Hard Reset" the machine which can be done by Unplugging the device for 10 minutes and then connect it back
If all the above fails then you need to call a service man in order to replace the TImer completely!..Thank you..
Please post back for how things turned or for further assistance..!

You will have to reset the console. To do this, close the door and press these buttons in sequence...
-high temp wash
-high temp wash
...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.
