Problem for Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Saved games on xbox 360 hard drive

my son purchased his friends xbox 360. we where able to play using the xbox live account that his friend had. his friend recovered the account and know i can not access any of my saved games on the xbox 360. is there a way to reset everything on the xbox 360 hard drive and start over as it was new right out of the box?

its not the account just the hard drive. make a new xbox live account.
