I have the same problem. I have removed my HDD and intercooler fan, as well as trying different games. I still get the screech and vertical, blurry lines on the screen. I do NOT have any Ring of Death. It appears as normal

I have the same problem. I have removed my HDD, intercooler fans and tried different discs, but I still have the same screech sound and vertical bars. I do NOT have any colors in my ROL. It appears as normal.
