Vista home premium wmp 11 decides to stop burning audio and audio
Had it fixed with registry mechanic, and two days later, frustrated again. there are NO viruses, no ADWARE, registry optimized, on line with Microsoft for three days, and they could not fix, I fixed after I gave up on them. other than this the system runs fine. I am at a loss.
Re: vista home premium wmp 11 decides to stop burning...
Uninstall it and reinstall if you have not yet.if it still happens google InfraRecorder and down load it it is free and it works well. now if you still have a problem then it has to be your rewriter check your driver it working and the firmware is upto date. If it is all ok then you will have to replace your rewrite.andy

vista requires certain specifications to run properly. If you are trying to run this on a computer which is too old then it will quite often stop responding.example you need 1Gig RAM or higher, etc. viruses are also one of the causes why windows would run slow, you should try a registry cleaner to fix registry problems.
Could be driver problem. You can try reinstalling the driver for the device. If it's a vista system, you might want to run the executable file in administrator mode, or even change the compatibility to XP.
Uninstall the current installation of the device software.
Insert CD in CD-ROM
Right click on the setup file
Choose properties / Compatibility Tab
Set it to XP
and tick the box at the bottom run as administrator.
Go to start : All Programs: Accessories: right click on Command Prompt, click run as administrator. click continue: you should see C:\Windows\system32> type there regsrv32 wmp.dll
It should look like this C:\Windows\system32>regsrv32 wmp.dll
(make sure to put the space in between 32 and wmp)
An info box will appear. Click Ok then restart.
That should fix it!

Therefore, you cannot use the computer to burn CDs or DVDs. This problem occurs because the SCSIport driver does not populate the correct number of bytes for an IOCTL_STORAGE_QUERY_PROPERTY Request Packet (IRP) when the device does not return a correct serial number. Service pack information loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution'); To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Vista or download the following Hotfix.
