You must take the assembly out of the player and locate the part number. Then try using the search engines with the part number plugged in to the search to find a parts distributor or dealer that carries the part. The part number is the key to finding the part. You may have to purchase the whole drive assembly with the motor and and laser combined. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

Why is it that everyones solution is to dump it and buy another? Thats why our planet is going to ****! how hard is it to give directions to fix it rather than toss it in the trash? So far I have found 20 sites saying that they have the answer to your DVD players malfunction, untill you read the comontary you find that they all say "well you got you moneys worth, even if you only turned it on once". I say BS. to you people!!!
