Door jammend against dish tray

If I place the tablet in the tablet door, during the cycle the door trap is released but gets jammed against the dish tray and doesn't fully open. Therefor the tablet does not fully dissolve and the plates don't get washed properly. The dishwasher seems to have all factory original parts and according to photos posted on the internet everything seems in it's original place. What can be done?

SOURCE: tablet door dosn't open during cycle

It sound like a detergent cup issue (the door doesn't open at time) A very simple test for it is to place a tablet on the bottom of the dishwasher for a full cycle and to see what happen to the tablet. In case the tablet will be dissolved : - The detergent cup can become clogged with old dried detergent that prevents it from opening at time. Sometimes just cleaning the cup takes care of the problem. - The detergent cup opened by a bi-metal switch or a wax motor located inside your dishwasher door(behind the detergent cup). If cup's cleaning will not solve the problem, you should replace the bi-metal switch or the wax motor (depend which of them is used in your machine). Good luck !

How do set a mouse trap - i torn directions off am scare to experiment

Hello,
Rule number one, BAIT IT FIRST!
Rule number two, always keep your fingers out of the line of fire.

When you are looking at the trap, it is sprung. That is, the mechanism is tripped, and the spring has flipped the bar to the "catch" position. You'll see the bar and spring. Look, and you will see another, single bar, connected on one end to the trap, with the other end loose. This is the trigger release bar. If you look at the bait tray, you'll see a place where the metal is pushed out on the side. This is the trigger. Here's how it works: You fold the spring bar over the bait pan, and hold it tight against the base, keeping your fingers out of the way (see rules 1& 2 above). While holding the spring bar down, use your other hand to bring the trigger release bar over the spring bar and to the bait tray. The end of the bar rests under the notch on the bait tray. As you are setting the bar, you'll slightly reduce your pressure on the spring bar. This pushes the release bar tighter against the notch. When the bar is in place in the notch, the trap is armed. When the mouse is tugging at the bait, the bait pan will shift and release the trigger release bar. It flips backwards, releasing the spring bar, which then catches the mouse.

Slides will not advance.buttons do not seem to work

1. Does the SELECT button work? If so, hold it & remove the tray (if one is present). Skip to step 3.
2. If the SELECT button doesn't work, remove the slide tray (if one is on the projector) using the emergency tray release in the center hub of the projector. 3. 3. Turn the projector on & try to cycle a few times in reverse. This is how you clear a slide change mechanism jam in the projector.
4. If that didn't work, then either you have a broken cycle circuit wire (usually an orange wire within the projector) or the release wire is trapped under the cycle pad. Refer to the following diagram for the correct "at-rest" position of these 2 contacts. (If you don't feel comfortable doing this, then contact a factory-trained repair dealer).
Good Luck !!

We have a Zanussi that has been fine for 2 years but the last week it has turned a powdery white inside and on the door with all the dishes becoming chalky. There is rinse aid and salt. Hope you can help

Dishwashers have a part usually called a separator or accumulator which traps the dirt from the water during the wash cycles while the water is continuously recycled to clean the dishes. At the end of the cycle the separator is flushed out and the trapped dirt goes down the drain. If it doesn't get flushed out the dirt builds up till it starts showing up on the dishes. Some separators have a hole on top and one on bottom with a valve which stops up one hole or the other depending which cycle it's running. The valve can be stuck or broken causing the problem.

Dishwasher 3 in 1 detergent tablet not dissolving.

I believe that the instructions for using these 3-in-1 tablets is to place it in the open dish detergent cup, rather than in the closable compartment, since the tablet needs to get doused by a lot of water in oder to fully dissolve and be effective in getting the dishes clean.

Since the tablets are designed to dissolve more slowly, they are able to be used for the entire range of washing cycles. If it's a constant problem and you don's have an open detergent cup below or next to your closed detergent dispenser, just toss it into the bottom of the dishwasher instead.

The reason that the tablet isn't getting dissolved fully is because the door is preventing the tablet from dropping all the way out and the door is shielding the tablet from quite a bit of water spray.

Another option is to take a look at your owners manual for the dishwasher and see if they recommend these all-in-one tablets versus regular powered detergent and liquid rinse aid.

Hope that helps and best regards!

My whirlpool dishwasher soap dispenser is apparently not opening during cleaning. I find dirty dishes and clumps of soap in the hopper. Whirlpool quiet partner II

I bet your clumps of soap began with the beginning of the use of a different DW detergent powder.

Try this (trust me) Go buy a box of brand name Dishwasher powder (e.g. Electrosol or Cascade) Use it for two loads of dishes and report your results back here. OK?

Ice maker problem

Clear the Ice tray by pressing the button under the ice maker. The problem is that the ice is in the first couple of slots is not dumping and the tray tries to fill again and over flows. I pressed the button and cleared the tray of ice (This will tilt the tray and twist it to empty it) that was re-frozen several times without dumping. My ice maker works perfectly after I did the above. I think the problem arises if the door did not close completely. I stopped hanging the dish cloth on the door and on my LG Dish wisher. I hope this helps

If you are you using a liquid soap or packets that will be the main problem. If your unit fills with water circulates the water and drains the water, and also heaters are working then you probally need to change to cascade powder soap. The film on the dishes is soap. The unit has so much build up in it that when it gets to the rinse cycle it is rinsing dishes with soapy water. You need to get 2 medium bowls fill both 2/3 up with white vinager, place one in upper rack and one in lower rack and run unit on longest cycle letting the vinager splash out during wash.do this with no soap and no dishes.Having soft water will allow you to use less soap.
