SOURCE: Good day, my monitor's power

How do the DC filter caps look? no bulging/leaking tops?
You need to verify the DC output of the 5vd and the 12~18 for the inverter, you will plug the power into the wall outlet and turn off the monitor using the power switch, check the DC voltage (The power supplies will be runing the minute the monitor is plug into the outlet and you do not want the inverter circuits to be running so you can check the DC with the inverter off and on to see if the DC ouput is steady. Please post back what you see.

SOURCE: My monitor won't turn on, no stand by led, ive

You need to have 5vdc (for logic) and 12~18vdc (for backlights) the minute you plug it into the wall outlet. It soinds like you main power is not working at all.

Channel 1 makes a pulseating click and NO sound through it . All other channels are fine!!!!!!!!

Hello,

Operational amplifier circuit named 4580 is the issue as with most of mixing boards, each channel has its own operational ic's and one way to know which one is defective is simply touch every one on the board, inside of course, of the non-working channel, check for excessive heat and if you find one pretty hot compared to other you just find your bad component, you will recognize what type of ic im talking about, is a 8-pin smd ic where the pin 4 should have -15v and pin8 should have +15V, no other pin should have any voltage and this is another way to test an opamp, with a dmm in dc volts referenced to ground, chassis ground, let me know if you need further assistance.

Tip

SAMSUNG PLASMA POWER SUPPLY CLICKING.

If you have a Samsung Plasma PS50A550 which will keep clicking and not come on, the fault is in the power supply .Check Power supply if its a BN44_00222a. This PCB cost almost $ 300.00 can be fixed for around $ 30.
The fault is in the 5.3v supply to the T.Con PCB. On the Power supply check voltages.VS will not come on unless the T.Con pcb is active.
Check on printed circuit side of PCB on secondary side there are 3 IC close to one another. 2 IC'S are 8 pin and one is 16 pin. Replace both 8 pin reg IC (25h3ll ) these are available from RS components. Part number is STS25NH3LL. The 16 Pin IC is a L6725A but this is not faulty.
lets keep these good TV working for another 4 years.

I have a proview lcd monitor model pl866s .What is the size of the power connector for the 19vdc @3068a psu?I have an extra psu with the correct voltage /current .Thanks Robert.

For the above LCD Monitor, I actually saw a small spark at the top part of the main board once the power input jack was connected. It prompted me to the exact location and when I check the SMD ceramic capacitor (that generated the spark underneath it) with analog meter set to X 10 K ohm range; it actually developed a slight short circuit. Replacing only the fuse and the SMD ceramic capacitor solved the no power problem in this 19" LCD Monitor. This Monitor uses the inverter IC (OZ960G), A1084-25CM (2.5 volts voltage regulator), AMC1117-3.3 (3.3 volts voltage regulator), ADC IC (MST8136B) and CPU IC (MYSON MTV312MV64).

Hi! I have a problem with my Samsung 943NW Monitor. Recently I plugged in a thing which splits my sound input in two: one for a headset and the other for the loudspeakers. After done this my monitor d Recently I plugged in a thing which splits my sound input in two: one for a headset and the other for the loudspeakers. After done this my monitor driver just vanished, and I had a noname plug and play display and the 1440x900 resolution just vanished and was 1024x768 instead. When I tried to install the correct driver (which windows says I've sucessfully done) nothing has changed. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, which was the only change in the late months around my com, so this MUST be related some way. When I tried to install the driver from the disc I have given along with the monitor itself, the installer says I need to visit samsung's website for 64bit and Vista drivers. No downloaded drivers worked either. Then, after hours of searching I just watching my messed up screen, then suddenly windows did something I still couldn't figure out, and everything was fine again! I had 1440x900 resolution and everything went well... until today... This all happened a few weeks ago, and now I had to move my come in my room from one point to the other, so I plugged everything off, moved it, plugged back in, and now I have the same issue, but still without a solution. If you need any other specifics just ask, and thank you for your help in advance! P.S.: In sort, the windows 7 64bit is messing with the monitor driver after I plugged in the jack thingie, but removing it isn't solving the problem at all.
