Powering down? Well, i have had my phone for awhile now. recently i have had the problem with the phone randomly powering down. and it does it VERY often! The phone will not even turn back on unless i removed the battery and put it back in. could this be a battery issue or what?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Short Battery life, Randomly shuts down, and more...

sounds like the battery is shot. Get a new battery and fully charge it. I try to charge my phone more off of a power outlet and not the cigarette lighter in a auto. The battery will last longer that way. something about cigarette lighters. As far as the messaging and failed calls goes. up grade your tower signals. contact your cell phone company and get the number for upgrading the towers.

Sim fault

It is most likely a loose connection problem. By applying a little pressure with your thumb and fore finger just above the red end call button and turning the phone off and then on using the comm. manager you can get it to work for a while.I have taken the phone apart and reset the ribbon cables with out any luck.
I am now looking at the solder joints.

Phone start up data might be corrupted. Format your phone memory. if problem still persists flash your Rom and update your phone os software.

Wont charge

Look at your phrase "it only charged when i placed the chord in a certain position" ... This points to some kind of fault inside your phones charger-plug.

You can try fixing this by yourself by using this guide to dismantle your phone :

Only expanded view, but it should show you where to look.

Otherwise take it down to your local Service-Center and let them have a look at it, seems to be a pretty simple "operation"

Signal strengh

I assume this problem was resolved. If not, please contact me and I will walk you through the solution. It always helps to know the provider name. Most cell phones are only as good as the towers they connect to. If your phone is not connecting to the local towers correctly you need to contact your service company for a tower update code.
Please let me know if I can help further.
