I don't know if there is a monitor with a function button to turn off the power save mode. As far as I know the power save mode of the monitor can be found in the display setting of the windows..
Anyway... If you want to turn off the power save mode of the monitor via windows display setting then here is what you need to do:
On control panel, double click display settings.. click the screen saver tab... on the lower portion Press the "power" button.. Select power schemes tab.. Change the settings of" turn the monitor off" to "never" Click apply and then OK..
Hope it gave you an idea.. Much appreciated if you rate this help...thanks..
Hi, the Power Saving Mode, turns the screen off to conserve energy. On the remote, press Menu, and scan to Power Saving Mode. You can change the amount of time, when the Screen turn-off, the TV shut-off etc. You can set the time to (5 min) to, (never, turn-off). This should help with your problem. Thanks paul7of9
If its going to analog power saving mode, that is what its supposed to do when it does not get a recognizable connection from a computer vga port. I would suggest coming back on with some more information about your computer and suggest testing another screen on your pc.
A quick Google tells me this is a VGA analog interface monitor.
Have you another monitor to test with, to see if the problem is the PC or the monitor.
If another monitor works (esp. a CRT) your L1730s may still be fine. Set the refresh rate of the graphics adapter to 60HZ. then test your LCD again.
Some monitors just blank the screen when they get a refresh rate they cannot handle.
