Brain, check your thermal fuse first. You can do this at the board. lower oven, p26-2 orange or p26-4 red wire to red wire at the terminal block. Should show closed circuit. Upper oven, p18-4 red or p18-1 red to red wire at terminal block. Should read closed circuit. If open, there is your problem. Control transformer is as follows, primary windings, P16-5 red to p16-7 red, 75 to 95 ohms. Secondary windings, p16-2 blue to p16-3 blue , 2 to 4 ohms. I do believe your problem is in the thermal fuse on the back. Post back, Catriver

8560 printer shut itself down and will not true back on

The following lists the chain of events that occur when you turn on a printer. You can follow this list as one means of determining if the printer is operating correctly. The exact chain of events depends upon the last power down condition and where the printer has last determined the printhead is positioned, this is stored in non-volatile RAM. The Checklist is the primary reference for troubleshooting power-up problems.

1. Power cord is plugged in and the power switch is turned on:

2. Power supply senses AC line voltage conditions (110 VAC or 220 VAC)

and enables DC voltages. If an overload occurs, the printer turns off the high voltage DC supplies, causing a "blink" effect on the Control Panel LEDs.

3. BIST test flashes the PE LED very briefly at a fast rate until the end of the

next test.

4. The Boot loader performs CPU initialization and RAM test. It then sends

the boot loader version to the serial port.

5. Power-On Self Test (POST) initializes the Control Panel. The Control

Panel LED turns red, green, orange, and then off. The Control Panel LCD then goes black and then clear. The POST version displays on the LCD

and waits two seconds. During this time the operator can press the Back

button to bypass the remaining POST test.

6. Low level Power-On Self Test (POST) diagnostics are performed. The

Control Panel displays status messages as each sub-test is performed.

This test takes about 8 seconds. All LEDs are off during the test.

If POST diagnostics pass, the Control Panel displays the Xerox logo and turns on the green LED.

If the test detects an error, the error message displays on the LCD and the printer flashes the LEDs with a repeating error code pattern.

7. The VxWorks operating system is initialized and engine code is started.

This takes about 15 seconds. The Xerox logo is displayed.

8. Print Engine Self Test (PEST) diagnostics are then performed. These test

the heaters, clutches, motors and solenoids. As each clutch is tested, you hear clicking with four high tones as each motor is tested. This test takes about 30 seconds.

9. The printer now runs the mechanical initialization. The exact sequence
depends on the initial position of the printhead and wiper assembly.

I accidentally plug my Wii that I got from US from 120v to 220v. I got the converter but I mistakenly plug it to the wrong voltage:(. I heard the poop sound. Did I burn the power adapter or the wii it...

You have most likely cooked the Wii itself, To check connect the correct power adapter to the correct system and in the correct power source ( 120v or 220v ) if it works all good if not you know you cooked it. If you are unable to test in this manner have it checked by a qualified technician.

I have a whirpool range top that i purchased that i now realize i do not have 220 V circuit available (replacing a gas range top). I have 120v available. The range top has a sticker that says 'connect...

It will not operate. The control panel will work but you will have no heat. The top and oven need 220 to actually heat up. The only thing that will work on 120 will be your clock and a warm zone if there's one.

Water heater not heating water , single element 110v replaced still no hot water

How To Test High Temperature Cutoff Switch Located at the Upper Heating Element Before testing the electic water heater elements we should check out the high temperature cutoff switch since a problem there will simply turn off power to both heating elements.
On an electric water heater the upper heating element may have two, three, or four electrical terminals, and above the upper thermostat is a high temperature cutoff switch with four terminals. You should be able to identify these parts by looking at the water heater's wiring diagram found on the tank or inside the panel cover.
The electric water heater high-temperature cutoff swtich will turn off the entire water heater if temperatures are too high. If this cutoff is not working the water heater will simply not heat at all. You can use this switch to test to confirm that the incoming electrical power circuit is indeed bringing power to the water heater.
Turn off electrical power to the heater at the electrical panel: WARNING: possible fatal electrical shock
Set the multitester or VOM to its 250 VAC scale, and attach the tester probes or alligator clips to the two uppermost terminals on the control (L1 and L3 on the top left and top right in our photo below). These are normally the incoming electrical wires from the power circuit to the heater. "L" refers to "Line voltage" on most controls.
Test for line voltage: Now you can turn on electrical power to the heater. Your VOM should show voltage close to the voltage on the water heater's identification tag: typically this will be 208V or 240V for a 240V water heater, or it might be just 115V or 120V for a 120V water heater. If you do not see voltage close to the rated voltage you need to call an electrician to diagnose and repair the problem.
Turn off Electrical Power to the Water Heater again. Don't skip this step or you may be killed or you may ruin your test equipment.
Test the High Temperature Cutoff Switch itself: set the VOM to its Ohm or resistance scale using the most sensitive setting (R x 1). Touch one probe to the upper left terminal on the control (L1 in our photo at left). Touch the other probe to the lower left hand terminal on the control (T2 in our photo at left).
The ohm meter needle should move (or your digital multimeter DMM should show some number other than infinity). If no continuity and infinite resistance is what you read, try pressing the reset button on this control (the red "RESET" button in our photo at left).
If you cannot reset the control then this device is not working and it needs to be replaced.

Panamax max 1500 doesn't work

by look at the M1500-ups there two bottom at your left side.. one is the power bottom and the 2nd is test switch. choice 2nd one the test switch it can restart the ups.. but for what i seen that it would solve the problem becoz it might not solve it as the indicator show is over voltage.. it came from the input source.. the UPS it self has automatic regulating the input source into constant output of conitinous AC source to ur equipments.. try to reduce ur load from the output outlet from the UPS..so as that it can resolve the over voltage from the front panel... and also check the circuit breaker for the over load protection from the outlet it a round and red small buttom check if it iz blown... another thing is that if all this menthod still not solve.. that will be the hardware problem could be i/p filter, MOV, MOfset or the driver from the battery converter... well if u not sure ask ur vendor to come and check the unit...

Stopped Working

MW, sounds like something blew on the board. I assume you do not have any lights lit on the dishwasher. Try the manual test mode by pressing the heavy wash key five times followed by the start key. If no results, remove the inner door and check for power between st-3 and st-11 on the board. Should have 120V with the door switches closed. If you have the voltage there and the control doesn't work, then it's the board. If you do not have voltage there, it's a power issue. Start with the door switches and work back to the cord terminal. There should be a tech sheet behind the toe panel that can help. Catriver..post back.
